Closing in on 7:30 in the AM.
GOOD MORNING TBN!
We're still stuck in April like weather, for us anyways.
Morning low in the high 30s F and if we get lucky maybe, just maybe, 60F late in the day.
Prediction is high probability of rain for the next 3-4 days and staying coolish.
We did have a tease day of 80F last Thursday.
Plants are waiting but the lovers of warm roots are going to wait some more.
I can hear the windmills running a couple miles away. Stirring up the air so frost doesn't settle on the still tender grape buds.
Not much chance of that but when you have so much invested in the crop a few $ more to run the machines is a drop in the bucket.
Doing some tree pruning after the dew dries and general cleanup of whatever strikes the eye.
Enjoy some Red Snapper, It's good for you and your SO may like it to.

42F and partly cloudy @ 07:00, calling for a high of 66F for the day.

Fresh coffee made and tasting mighty good. This week we are having Starbucks Pikes Place Roast, whole bean and freshly ground.

Septic service due in this afternoon for a pump out. Was last done in 2017 so we are (over) due. Supposed to be done every couple of years but with only the two of us living here that’s kind of silly.

I may be FOS but there’s no way we’d fill two 1000 gallon tanks in 8 years. Especially with no garbage disposal.

After that, swing by friend’s place and top off his ORD tank.

Then hopefully back home and work on the mowing some more before the rain arrives later today.

Feeders need filled. Probably about time (or past) to put out the feeder for the hummers.

Need to re-tarp posts.

Get that local tax return put in the mail.

See what else comes up.

Hope everyone has a decent Tuesday …

Good morning TBN!!
60 going to low 80s today. Tstorms likely but probably while we are sleeping tonight!

I had one of "those" days yesterday. :-(
Everything I touched was a problem. Just the highlights:
Went to town for a new battery from NAPA. Ended up needing nearly on hour to get it back in. Tried to reinstall using the hold downs that came with the tractor. Had it strapped in for years because not the same size as original. Suffice it to say it is strapped in again.
Put the pallet with genny and welder in the back of the truck so I could put the bucket back on.
Then I ran the tractor out of fuel at the top of the driveway on the hill. Had to walk to get the fuel and get it in and of course it wouldn't start with out bleeding the system.
Shut the tailgate on the truck and it came off in my hands. It's not a big deal but it's a PITA to get back on.
Gave up and decided to take the dog for a walk. Tripped in the first few steps.
Gave up after that. I sure hope today is better.
No plans yet. I'm sure work on the bridge will be in the agenda. I need to get some rip rap down in the mud and some fill between the tanks and shore it up. Then we should at least be able to drive across it. That is still a couple of day to finish fill though and get it secure. It is to narrow between the tanks to drive on.

Time for a second cup
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

another busy day, going to be really worked over this morning by dermatologist.
red area on upper lip, boy that's going to sting when the freezer gets there...plus
something in my armpit and one on my back I can't see.

Had my first visit ever to a dermatologist a couple weeks ago.

Had specifically asked my PCP for a referral.

Got the complete inspection, head down to my toes.

Froze off a pre-cancerous spot on my left arm and had her look at a spot on my neck that occasionally becomes irritated for no apparent reason.

She did a scrape biopsy on that.

Got the results about a week ago … it was a (small according to her) basal cell carcinoma.

Scheduled to go in next week to have that removed.

Can’t remember if she said there would be stitches or not.

Other than that, was good to go.

Lady doc is very good.

The practice where I’m going is about a dozen ladies and two guys. All of them young(er) … and all of the ladies are very easy on the eyes …

Good luck with the pergola pick up …

Good Morning Dennis,

It has really been built up since the last time we were there , completely different in size 😉
They still have the straw market near the docks. I have a thing hanging on a wall from there. Looks like they renamed the Never say Never bar, used in a James Bond film, at British Colonial hotel.

Good Morning
46° and clear, likely won’t make 70.

Yesterday’s trip to pick up the Citation didn’t go well. On departure, I got to 2000 feet before the master caution lit up with an engine control fault. That was the same issue it was there for in the first place. So right back to the Service center and home with out it.

Welded up a slinger for a neighbor’s manure spreader, and puttered around a bit.

Today starts with breakfast with the professor, then a service call on a heat pump system. And of course I’ve got to vote.
I can’t complain if I don’t contribute to the problem.

My last visit to the (female) dermatologist had one benign biopsy and 5 freezes on my bald head.

I figured you’d have the complete 411 on it Bup …

Sheesh … that’s a lot of slicing.

I figure I probably have a few more in my future, being light-skinned and of a fair complexion.

Can’t say that I’m looking forward to it though.

I guess just be thankful that there is actually a treatment for it.
