Do they take SNAP or other benny cards?btw, the green stuff costs about 285 an ounce locally, in NJ.
It was about 190 in California so transport cost not bad.
used to be 400.

Under $70 per ounce average in Michigan.look at the price of a retail pack of cigarettes
I'm a retired CFP and it has always pained me to get in line, when I was in NC, at the supermarket and see all these poor folk
buying cases of beer, cartons of cigarettes, and usually several cases of Coke or similar. And yes add bags of chips.
it wasn't a cliche...it was real and a lot of it.
does get back to the core comment of using common sense.

Consider yourself lucky. Here and a lot of places they encourage employers to keep Narcan on hand because so many people are ODing on the job as well as elsewhere.I can’t even imagine how things would be today because MJ is everywhere and used freely

A local police chief said that he's lost an entire generation to narcotics.
It isn't just your standard vices... how many people do you know who can't feed themselves, yet have 3 dogs and multiple cats?it wasn't a cliche...it was real and a lot of it.

I have always, always said no to anything stronger than pot all my life, and particularly anything that came in a pill.I have Narcan in my office and in my Truck.
Police cars all carry it and most have defibrillators.
Open air drug use is very common and most mornings at work I get to clear the doorways of folks stoned….
Sometimes it’s just a bottle of wine and food stolen from grocery stores… other times the dime bags or zip lock bags of MJ are laying in the open.
IMO, we're moving backwards. The states are "legalizing" the sale and use yet the fed still just says no. So much in fact that these dispensaries aren't allowed to have bank accounts. No bank accounts, how accurate are the tax receipts? Who is left holding the bag if weed is found to cause certain long-term ailments (like cigarettes)?I guess I'll never understand what goes on in their heads.

Did you see the ban on pot store billboards/advertising they want to implement in Indiana? The reasoning being if it's not legal in Indiana, it shouldn't be legal to advertise for it in Michigan. So driving up 933, for example, you see pot shop billboards in Indiana for the stores up ahead just a few miles in Michigan. However, I believe they grandfathered any advertising that is already in place until its contract runs out. I seem to recall one of them signed a 10 year contract before the ban.Just recently, Niles Township, MI, just north of South Bend, IN, started taking applications for pot stores, several have been made so far. They will be located just north of the Indiana state line, like as little as a couple of hundred feet, so the Hoosier potheads can slide up there and buy their weed. Personally, I think the cops should watch patrons leave the stores and pull them over once the cross the state line. We have enough problems with alcoholics and hard drug users, potheads are just another problem. A significant percentage of drivers stopped for DWI are stoned according to arrest reports.
I have a neighbor that is always complaining about being broke, but always seems to have a couple of hundred bucks to buy pot a couple of times a month. He doesn't get any sympathy from me.
I guess it's all about priorities.
If their lives are so bad that hey need drugs to cope, it would seem to me that that the money could be better spent to make changes in their life, like vocational training or online education so they could get a better job.
I guess I'll never understand what goes on in their heads.

In md there are no tax gains from weed sales, they made it tax exempt

Can't go wrong with a root beer float!I’ve read even Indiana has even began considering legalizing some type of weed usage.
It’s been so long since I have had I puff, I kinda forget what it’s like.
My idea of getting high for the last 25/30 years is enjoying a root beer float!
