My youngest son’s neighbor sent his cows over to our Easter Egg Hunt

New pet-rat snake or chicken snake (because they eat chicken eggs). I think he ate all the Easter eggs. He lives the hole behind the garage downspout.
84 degrees feels cool on back porch.
We thankfully got 1/2” rain before Church this morning.
Pool temp is 78 degrees. Waiting for water temp to reach 83.

Easter supper was good! Ham done in the slow cooker, with crushed pineapple, the juice from the pineapples and a cup and a half of dark maple syrup. Let it all marinade overnight and slow cooked it today from about 8 till 4:30. Plus yesterdays left over egg salad, we had egg salad sandwiches for supper last night.
Tomorrow night will finish off the ham. With it just being the two of us a 5 lb of any meat will usually do us two suppers.

More piddling on the camper today. Washed the golf cart, and acquired some pea plants that got installed in the garden along with heirloom tomatoes and straight neck squash.

Lot hand shoveling tossing gravel back on driveway and breaking up snow pile, hoping by Friday bank dry for good raking.

Just couldn't get my butt in gear this afternoon even puttering was and effort.
Steady 25-35 mph winds all day starting to dying down now,kinda surprise hardly sticks etc. to clean up,sure surprise to see very nice blue spruce up rooted in front field guess I know what Iam doing tomorrow.

Power came on while we were at evening service. Class went good.
Did loose an LED light fixture upstairs. It made a loud snap just as my wife turned it on, at the same time we lost power. All LED fixure, no bulb.
Also have one UPS complaining with a constant buzzing noise. Had to reset almost all GFI outlets.
Nice to have power again.

The sxs at dad's was one of the neighbors. He let my brother know. I have more No Trespassing, No hunting signs on order.

Good afternoon all. 61ºF for the start, .6 inch in gauge, overcast sky, light breeze. Windy during cell passage, sky cleared during afternoon, and high temp was 70ºF, low temp during cell passage, 58ºF. Made coffee to start day, help setup for inside Easter Sunrise service, attend chapel and help tear down chapel, go to breakfast with group. putter, nap, clean catkins off front porch, and load laundry
