Yeah those are common symptoms of a battery going bad on the Gen5 Rangers. I read about it a lot on the forum. One thread just popped up in the past day or so. You need to do a BMS reset after the new battery.

What is BSM and how do you reset it?

Our ranger doing its normal thing today You wouldn't believe the miles we do each winter, on snow and towing a trailer.

I reset the Battery Management System by hitting the high beams 5 times and depressing the brake 5 times and the brake icon started blinking so I guess I did it right. Thanks.

I don't do any trail riding, hiking, etc, so if this is a silly question- that's why lol- but is that a trail groomer on the back of the ATV?
