Good morning! 53˚F heading to the upper 60s, E wind good chance of rain, fog advisory.

Looks like outside projects will be rained out today. Will be a good day to clean the garage. Got the Gooloo so I don't have to worry about getting stranded in the Ford. I'll try one more new battery, a shame they only last a little over 2 years.

Good morning TBN!!
25 this morning under sunny sky. Supposed to be near 60 later.

Not too much yesterday. I did finally get around to starting to cut up the large pine that fell during Helene in the back yard. Probably on todays agenda too.
Wife made the weekly call to FEMA. They said to call back Thur or Fri if we didn't hear from them. Not holding my breath but it is a little more encouraging.
Other than that it was walking the dog. Broke 10k for the first time in a few weeks.

Time for a 2nd cup.
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

Morning all;
An overcast morning here with temps in the mid 20's. We had a bit of light nuisance snow during the night, just an inch or two that has been quite wind blown with another inch in the forecast and wind gusts to 40 mph. Sooner or later today I guess I'll start the tractor and scrape the driveway so it doesn't get packed into ice and do some sweeping and a bit of shoveling around the house. Ten day forecast has several of these little nuisance storms predicted. And as I look out the window just now it's lightly snowing at this time.
I would much rather it dump and be done with.

Dang $1400 for heater hoses and anti-freeze sounds abit high especially since they just had it in and checked it over. But with many of these dealerships charging close to or over $200 an hour on labor times it isn't a big surprise, uncalled for yes, a surprise not really.

All stay safe and get well
time for my breakfast a single biscuit, egg and sausage gravy.

Yea, the paper is the less expensive part.
Can’t believe no manual.

...and INK! 😁
Congrats on the new truck.
Yeah, luckily a few years ago I bought a EcoTank printer. So the INK part is "really" nice and lasts a LONG time. If you have an old style cartridge type and ever want to upgrade, I would highly recommend you look at the Epson's. :)

Good Morning
35° headed to 45 under fair skies.
Yesterday I pretty much accomplished nothing but consummate the deal on the Lexus.
It is now titled and registered to me, and inspected. It was originally taken to the dealer to get inspected, but when it got there, they couldn’t do an official state inspection, because the registration and insurance were expired. They did inspect it, but couldn’t issue the stickers. It was left at the dealer since before Christmas because of the registration and insurance issues.
When I got there to pick it up with current credentials, they said that they would have to re-inspect it to issue the stickers, which I understand, but didn’t want to wait for their schedule. So I took it to my friends shop, where he got it right inside.
I added the xm radio to my subscription and got it activated while he was looking it over.

It’s pretty much like a new car that just happens to be 11 years old. Definitely worth waiting for the deal to happen.

So today will be the day to go order a shed, and get some work done in the shop.

Morning all, 32 going up to 51 and cloudy
Got the garage dried out a bit, still need to leave it dry for another day or two and then re-assemble and cut some patches and new OSB.
Got it cleaned enough that wife can park in her spot and tractor is back inside.

More people let go at work, including some long time friends.

Little round hole top left is where the pipe comes down and had burst.

Sounds like the house is under control. Too bad about work. Those changes will stress you out.

I sincerely hope you can fare well with all those changes.
