Ken, beautiful snow pix. Congrats to your son on college and grant.
Buppies, continuing to pray for you and your wife. Thought about you good folks a lot while hiking yesterday. We eventually moved my wife's mother to the Memory Care unit of her Assisted Living community. It was very nice, with caring folks giving 7/24 care in a part of the building that was locked, for their safety. My wife visited multiple times a week and even stayed overnight a few times. When I visited, I was happy to see the care provided...these folks were heroines to me.
Kyle, beautiful church, nicely decorated for the season.
Sodamo, congrats on the nice new Ascent. Big smile on her face. Don't you love it when so many parts of a deal come together so smoothly? Creates loyalty. I feel loyalty needs a comeback.
Had a real nice Solstice hike yesterday with Della. Had studied trails needed for my goal of completing the Shenandoah 500 and was all packed early, ready to leave when I got a text from the National Park that they had closed the Skyland Drive due to the snow. So quickly found another trail where I could drive to the lower boundary and park...then hike up to the top of a mountain. Never got into more than an inch of snow, but the wind was very serious, and the temps stayed in the 20s. Della's first snow hike, and longest hike so far.
