The bunnies are looking for a warmer place to overwinter.:ROFLMAO:
We got them today. I used my ego leaf blower under the bed and couch then my wife used the whole house vacuum and collected hundreds in the garage vacuum container and all filtered dust air was shot out in the front of the garage. Good riddance dust bunnies.

Picked up another 15 bags of black mulch to spread when it gets a bit warmer - first freeze of the season expected tonight, maybe.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 31° with cloudy skies. Heading to 33° with cloudy skies. Weather is going to get cold for a couple of days. Made a trip to HD. Got a Ryobi battery operated inflator. Tried it out. Works good. Just set desired pressure and let it run. Is on sale for $25. Neighbor took a vacation day. Took our 22 rifles and pistols into woods and shot off a few rounds from each. Sassy took me for a walk later in the day.
Hawk landed on front porch eavestrough. Cutting off sun light at my computer. So I took a photo shot.

good morning all
surprisingly warm 52 out now going up to 63 in rain, probably heavy at times
they expect one to two inches, it's quite a system going all the way down to the Gulf.
All that warm air and rain coming up from the South.

Lou, be glad this won't be snow or even those very cool new tires might have a problem.
Chains are always so much work to put on. Used to have to put them on John Deere B.
Miserable job, pinched fingers, covered in rust when done.
I think the attachment process might be a little easier today.
would be nice if they designed them to just drive on...

my favorite vehicle in snow was our 1966 VW bug with studded snowtires.
My father simply had to get to the train and we lived in the country.
Then they outlawed studs here, not sure if we ever put chains on it.
I do remember Firestone Town & Country snow tires.
Great car to learn to drive in snow, built up confidence.
expecting those little levers between the floor to actually do anything
was an act of faith and often a cold ride in winter.

Ron, I love my handheld Makita air inflator. Hope yours works well. Really nice for smaller tires where you can take it to them.
I used to use the one that came with a portable car battery jumper, but that was heavy.
It doesn't turn off automatically once it reaches the set limit, only downside I see but pretty accurate when I doublechecked with other tire gauges.
But if you have the battery, wonderful. Not sure how much cfm you get for 25 bucks. I love reading the very fine print on duty cycles.
all those little air compressors make an unpleasant noise to me, hard on my bad ear. The only really quiet one is the Makita pancake compressor I have in my garage. That just purrs. I don't use it as much anymore with the nice portable one.

My Makita did a great job of topping off the rv tires.
but it did make enough noise I couldn't use it early in the morning in a quiet rv park.
most folks were asleep when I was up.

haircut this afternoon at 4pm, going to get wet, need a hat

60 and raining all night and more today. Temps should be dropping from here to 20s next few days.

Ken, hope your hearing is back. That is scary.

RNG, hope your fingers aren't hurting. You've been so busy, you could probably use a little down time.

Wag, prayers for your sister's surgery.

We like to enjoy our Christmas tree "naked" for a couple of days...just a tree in the house...but finally put the lights on yesterday. My wife thinks it is the most beautiful. Ornaments go on today.

Decided to make a dump run before dark...rain would make it messy waiting for today. The lady that manages the "convenience center" (dumpsters and recycling) decorates the place for every season...has re-used folks' throw-a-ways that are perfectly good...Looks so festive there. Took Della so we could grab a short hike at the park...got pretty dark by the time we got back to the truck...misty the whole hike made it spooky.
