Massey, I use soda water and orange juice mixed 50/50 for cramps. I too have been suffering with them since I was in my teens.

The tow bill for the roll over probably went to a grand. Re the dump truck, the rest of the crew would be shoveling it out while the spreader was getting up righted.

I don't get any ads on TBN, this is a good thing. I have had enough of the political ads begging for money on youtube. I don't give the politicians in Canada any more money than I have to so why would I give the U.S. any money? They are one of the reasons I am playing the video game.

Time to let the cat out and get on with my day of conserving energy.

I still get ads on the top of the page and a few on the right side, since I started typing this my count has gone up to 346.

those folks don't like rv campgrounds, there are very few to choose from.

AdBlockPlus says it's stopped 6 ads on this page so far. I'm not seeing any at all, so it must be doing its job.

Made a few minor tweaks to the smart lighting yesterday, then started in unloading the van. Everything's out of it, except for some paint I'll recycle later in the week. Got both firewood pallets unloaded, but need to get the pallets unloaded still, and that means some musical chairs in the side yard. That'll also get the drop gate trailer positioned for the Salton Sea trip at the end of the week. Not sure what's up for the rest of the day, but the garage is badly in need of some putting away and reorganization.

Morning all, 45 going to 59 and sunny, dry.
Did some watering and taking down Halloween decorations.
Then shuttling son around since we are down to one car.
Then to town to try a new restaurant for dinner, Thai place. Was pretty good. Nice to have a lower cost decent place, was very crowded and wandered around Lambertville for an hour while waiting for our table.
Then pick up kids, drop them off and back home.

River is so dry that there are a lot of new islands and the current islands are a lot bigger. A lot of areas usually open for kayaking and small boats, now walkable (but muddy)

The Ivyland Railroad went back and got the diesel train with a full water car to help put out the fire they started. Many roads closed on way to walk dog at peddlers village.

Agree Boston not a good place to drive an RV.

Successful run to town yesterday. All the appropriate fluids in the right containers. Made a stop at HD to acquire a new Wet Dry vac. My Craftsman lasted 20 years so no real complaints. It was likely abused as much as it was used as it was my go to during all the construction. Guessing from the sparking the brushes were toast. All my extra parts fit the new one. Lifetime warranty.

Will be slow cooking a nice pot roast while watching football

You are more then welcome to stop by my place or meet for a bite, If desired I have a small parking spot at the base of my driveway that is kind of level. Not very far off your indicated route. State Rt. 40 runs North from the Albany area and is very scenic compared to the Northway (I87) also Rt4 runs north and through the Saratoga Battle field area (Old Saratoga being Schuylerville in the present time)

great ideas Lou, I figure staying off 87 is like staying off 95 so yes an alternate path North is fine

got my chores done, rv all scrubbed down, house windows washed, time to chill
