Two buzzards were on the back porch when we got home from church, they apparently cleaned out the kitty litter for us. It would have been nice if they would not substitute it with their poop and miss the box.

85 at sunset no rain so I had to water the brown grass after I put some Fall 13/13/13 fertilizer down. We cant use the irrigation system. Only hand water all but one day a week- too many people moving to this popular area of Texas.

I was put on a day off today from the farm and enjoyed the day at home. The owner would have found work for me at the Farm but they already had 4 drivers for one tractor to cover the shifts and I did tell her to use me as first cut - let the young ones work if they want/need to. They were figuring low attendance today because of the heat. Just Does not feel like Fall. I’m back on the Kubota next weekend the first weekend the dinosaurs come to the Adventure Farm.

Don, I've been told the dark headed buzzards are the "bad" kind, that peck out eyes of calves. They came onto the scene here in the last few decades. It used to be all red headed buzzards here as far as I can remember.

Good evening all. 57ºF for the start, fog, calm wind. Light wind, fog lifted out, and high temp was 83ºF. Slept through alarm for 15 minutes so no coffee, chapel set up, attend chapel, chapel tear down, just two of us for breakfast. Stopped off at stepdaughter church went to Sunday School and their worship service, had lunch with her and her hubby. watch some recorded TV, looked door code for pickup, found method to retrieve code which worked . Got front porch cleaned up dinner and watched Cowboys . They played 3 good quarters, but still lost . 10 day forecast had 6 days of rain, about 2.5 inches forecast.
Ron glad furnace works, nice only thing need was new batteries for thermostat. Good to hear progress on tree trimming Hope NASCAR good. Pretty cardinal.
Paul glad pool table moved with no problems. Hope first night in home was good, sorry Zoe had the fidgets. GS has nice costume, my he has grown. Hope good trip to Covington.
Frits hope the extra sit ups help. Sorry about boat trip canceled.
Thomas good luck with Boo tire swing. Hope leaf control went well.
Happy(nc) hope clean up is progressing satisfactory. Good luck with rewire of buggy.

Enjoyed the wild life on return trip yesterday a lot of good sized bucks. This area I call home is truly beautiful have not seen anywhere I like better
