RS, that's some serious pipe.

Yes it is.

Remind us what you are going to do with it? Could support a building.

Don't know that I ever said.

No real specific plans for it at this point.

Long enough (9') they could be used for posts for a shorter fence, maybe for that 6' chain-link fencing.

Thick enough wall that they probably wouldn't ever rust out in my lifetime ...

I'm sure some use will come up ... ;)

Thanks guys

Except for being socked in and lots of water, doing well here. Grid neighbors have lost power but we are fine. I didn’t wait for generator to autostart, just turned on manually as really not expecting much sun power.
Even winds not bad, averaging mid teens, gusts of 28-29.
Getting alerts to some road situations, but we are staying home.
About to start roasting some kabocha squash for soup.

Just got alert from friend.

This is a secondary road across from us. Yes that is a rambunctious stream overrunning a bridge behind guy.

Our catchment does have overflow. Suspect it has been overflowing awhile now.

But we are safe and comfy. 🤙🤙🤙

Popgadget I have a 10' wood attic stairs in the garage and need to replace it because it is too heavy and awkward, I need to stand on a separate ladder to close it. Do you have some pics of you attic stairs/ladder? I would like to remove just the wood stairs, leaving the existing wood frame opening and door, and replace with an aluminum stairs or ladder that I can handle by my self.

Morning to all,
Been a some what busy week here for me. A bit of repair parts for my nephews round baler and then the past week has been the Washington County Fair. One of my brothers has a couple of small tractors to tractor pull with occasionally I will drive one of them. Did so in the out of the field class Friday morning in the 4500 pound class. He got a second place with his tractor (WD45) and I got around a 6th or 7th with his other WD45, with a pull of 194 ft, he got 242 ft with the tractor he was driving. We had a bit to much nose weight on mine.

Have to see if this link works; a 30 second video of the little Alliis,

After I pulled I went over and sat in the bleachers with one of my daughters and we watched the rest of the morning? classes, started at 10AM and concluded a bit after 4PM so they could reprep the tractor for the heaiver classes that evening. The morning pulls started at 4500 pounds and went up to 10,500 pound tractors.
Got me a bit to much sun sitting on the aluminum bleachers got my arms face and nose quite well sunburned.
Going to be a lazy day for me, may run up to one of my daughters and pick up the little utility trailer I let them use.
Do you run rear tire weighted?
What do you run for rear tire air pressure?

No fluid in the tires, the rears are at 14 psi.
The tractor with operator has to weigh under 4500 pounds for that class, I rolled across the scales at 4460.
We had a few hundred pounds of weights under the belly of the tractor and 240 pounds on the front weight bracket. We should have put the two 70 pounders on the rear weight brackets.

There are tractor pulls in most of our County fairs, my brother won his class at the Saratoga County fair, I'm not sure if that was a 4000 pound or a 4500 pound class.
Then the next fair in my area is the Schaghticoke fair which is next week.
Then there were a couple of benefit pulls in the immediate area and then a couple more coming up in the next month.

Good Afternoon,
Well I didn’t make any big money today ! 😉 But I only lost $20 so it was a win for me ! My buddy Ron made over 500 bucks on the 8th race on an exacta !

Lou, actually it wasn’t too bad today at the route 149 and route 9 junction !
I’m going to get over to your place one of these days !

Ted, I mowed the Ct lawn on Wednesday before we left and it ran really nice ! Knocked that lawn off really quick with that thing !

We are going up to the Lake House on Lake Bomoosen tonite ! Should be fun !

Have a pleasant Saturday evening! 🙏
Any time, I don't get out much these days. And may not even have a beer to offer, but always have coffee.
I usually enjoy visitors and have a fairly wide open schedule.

If operator wins his class does he have the option pull in the next higher class?

The classes for farm stock are strictly by weight and original factory rated PTO Hp.
You can enter any and all classes you are legal for, we only ran in the 4500 pound class we could have added a 1000 pounds to each tractor and ran them in the 5500 pound class, but neither of use is up to slinging a thousand pounds back and forth among tractors and classes. But many will run in 2 or 3 classes. Once in awhile someone will try to run in the enhanced class (hot rodded) with a "stock" tractor but it doesn't work well.

Class 1 - Stock - Under 4,500 lbs. & under 49 PTO hp. 3000 RPM
Class 2 - Stock - Under 5,500 lbs. & under 49 PTO hp. 3000 RPM
Class 3 - Enhanced - Under 6,700 lbs.
Class 4 - Stock - Under 6,500 lbs. & under 80 PTO hp. 3000 RPM
Class 5 - Stock - Under 8,000 lbs. & under 102 PTO hp. 3000 RPM
Class 6 - Enhanced - Under 8,200 lbs.
Class 7 - Stock - Under 9,500 lbs.. & under 102 PTO hp. 3000 RPM
Class 8 - Stock - Under 12,000 lbs.3000 RPM
Class 9 - Enhanced - Under 9,700 lbs.
Class 10 - Stock - Under 14,000 lbs.3000 RPM
Class 11 - Enhanced - Under 11,200lbs
Class 12 - Enhanced - Under 13,700 lbs.

Well, we got the Dodge garage roof up and tied down today AND I cut the grass out back and the front lawn. We rearranged the Jeep garage which will now become the z-turn shed + two three wheelers and the M101CDN2 trailer. The lumber that is in there will get relocated into the Dodge garage, about 10 of 2x8s 16' long and 4 of 2x4s 12' long.
I may acquire another shed, I will check on Shelter Logics website and see how much they want for one 10' wide and 12' long. I have enough lumber and screws to fashion another floor.
