I tried out the e-trike today after the rain stopped. If you accelerate hard it has a tendency to pull to the left. The electric motor is mounted on the front wheel on the left, so it is not surprising that it would pull to the left. You can take off from a dead stop with it. It has adjustable front forks and 4" wide tires.
Going to be interesting riding it in the winter. I haven't ridden in the winter in 64 years but then it was on my 2 wheeler one speed, with a paper carrier on the front and 40 lbs of newspapers in it.

We are down to 4 cats now. 3 toms and a queen. The other queen died last night and we started searching for her tonight. It wasn't uncommon to not see her all day, but for her to appear in the evening. I found her, stone cold dead. At least she died at home and not by another predator. We thought that she wouldn't last until wintertime, so we made a coffin for her last Spring. She is in it now and we will bury her tomorrow morning on top of Smokie. Smokie was my cat, she died of kidney failure 5 years ago and she is buried beside Katie the Black Lab.
All three of them will be waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge when my time comes.

What if their conception of Heaven doesn't include you?

Poured first cup of coffee. 58° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 74° with mix of sun, clouds and wind. Finished mowing and trimming grass yesterday. Also cleaned and did some preventive maintainace on grass equipment. Friends motorhome is ready for sale. Today will finish preventive maintainace on JD mower.

Good morning, the low is 55 and going to a high of 64°F. Wind WNW 6 mph. Showers with possible t-storms.

As long as the rain is not a raging downpour, then I will dig the hole for the cat today. IF it is a raging downpour, then she will go into the freezer until it isn't.

I believe that every living thing whether human or animal after it dies, when you mention it or say its' name is alive in your heart. As for their concept of heaven? I don't know, I've never been there.
My Granddad always said he would be back as a big 'ole tom cat.

Ron, your Cardinal is looking more red than gray again.

good morning all
cooler Sunday morning, should be a nice sunny day.
meeting my friends at B&B for breakfast, then off to the car show.
today is foreign cars and i will walk as much as I can.

forecast is clear all this coming week and lovely cool nights for sleeping.

dinner last night was good. The curried chicken came out well, my guests were stuffed.
Took half the leftovers and froze them, will take one on trip with me. I did forget to put in the sour
cream though, but still ok. Big mess to clean up after I took them home, cranked up tunes and put it all away.
and slept like a rock.

now for a long hot shower and ready to do it again.
Actually my electric hot water heater seems to be dying. Likely wrecked by the acidic water and for sure no one
has ever changed the anode. I bet one of the elements has given up. One more bit of house's plumbing wrecked by this
water. Not sure, but think I've finally convinced landlord that fixing this will be cheaper in the long run.
Landlord has typical if it ain't broke, don't fix it attitude. But has approved an acid neutralizer for me so that's a start.

Well, the storm woke the dormant grass, and even brought back to life some of the brown grass, so I mowed for nearly 3 hours yesterday.

Found a new way to clean the mower deck...
1. Start mower and activate the PTO. Increase RPMs to max.
2. Whip around the corner of the barn as usual using muscle memory to swing close.
3. Catch the side of an old half rotten 16' long tarp that has blown onto the grass due to the storm.
4. Watch confetti shoot out.
5. Scream your favorite go-to cuss word.

57° now highs around 80° and sunny. Winds SW 5-10 mph gusts around 20mph, dew points staying in the mid 50’s today.

Mowing on tap for today, just to hot, humid and wet yesterday. That’s about it unless I get a huge burst of ambition lol.
