70.2F and "Fair" @ 21:15, heading down to around 67F for overnight low. LWS reports that mercury hit 94.6F for the high here today.

Got 3 cattle panels moved into the shop and straightened out, had to weld one wire back on one of them. Decided the 4th one didn't really need straightening ... it should be good to go.

Came back down to the house after that around 17:00 and headed out on the deck for more disassembly work. Was in shade ... but it was absolutely miserable with the heat and humidity ...

Got about an hour in on that and had to come inside since The Woman was headed over to the neighbor's for a haircut. (She operates the window, opening and closing it so the Little Squeak doesn't get out when I'm out there)

And because it was clouding up to the north and west and I was hearing thunder.

Went out and hooked up the soaker hose on the Sunny Boys and set it to run for 15 minutes.

Grabbed the first tomato while I was out there ... a Crimson Cushion almost the size of a softball. Came back inside after that and sliced it up and ate the whole thing. Very meaty, small seeds, and not too much juice. Taste was great, not too acid.

Wasn't too long after that the skies opened up and dumped buckets. Got 1.3" in around 15 minutes or so. Had another little shower come through later this evening that dropped another 0.11" ... so 1.41" total for the day.

My young neighbor the arborist stopped by around that time to drop that tree over on the east side of the garden.

Got that dropped over into the woods so it wouldn't be lying on the lawn about the time it was getting too dark to really see.

Probably going to have a brownie which The Woman made yesterday with some milk and watch a little bit of the Olympics.

So the mounting panel behind this junction box rotted out and needs be replaced. Rotted board easy to remove, the various screws, not so much. This box houses the leads between 2 subpanels.

Good evening all. 79ºF for the start, mostly cloudy and breezy. Moderate wind with very brisk gusts, sky became mostly clear, and high temp was 96ºF, HI 107ºF. Made coffee to start, Men's Meeting, bike ride, lunch and cool down, nap, work on paperwork, dinner at Mexican restaurant. Earliest concert I remember was Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, opening band had a gut named Jean Luc Ponty. He was good!!!

Drew sorry low on motivation. Only have heat advisory here. sorry battery waterer lost. When I quit adding water to the "ring" was using less water per battery. I was advised very new batteries and very old batteries used more water(prone to boil easier). Don't remember if cells near post used more water.

Coffee is brewing. 66° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 88° with evening thunderstorms. Repaired water line to garden pond. When grass dried mowed it. It sure was warm. Have a Nurse coming out this morning to check out my health at home. Then grocery shopping. Spending rest of day staying out of the heat.

I never got my inside work done yesterday so house cleaning on for today.
Will be so hot out this afternoon not going out there anyway.

sure could use some of the rain you guys are getting. Maybe tomorrow.

David, maybe spray from that spigot did it in. I never like water near electricity...

I ordered a set of charcoal infused filters for the a/c unit in rv. About the only thing I can do for smoke though
I suppose I could put a small air cleaner in rv. Just no room.

my neighbors said my portable fridge worked great, their new fridge is delivered today and I'll get mine back.
what's nice is you can set it at -4 or around 42; use it as fridge or freezer. It's very small though, honestly sized to carry two large
boxes of local chocolates out to my family in California. Or a couple of frozen Costco lasagnas.

played telephone tag with druggist yesterday, still don't know what he will charge to compound Wegovy.
Hope to get that going today.

Thomas, only 52 days till autumn!

We did get an inch of rain yesterday, right after I watered the garden lol, certainly won’t hurt.
The folks north and west of us have been hammered with lots of rain and flooding. Prayers for them and others dealing with natures tantrums.

I got a bunch of little stuff done yesterday. Can’t remember what it was lol CRS seems to be worse when it’s hot out, at least that’s the story I’m sticking with for now, I think

No plans for today other than keeping cool.
