Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...4 hours at part store,afternoon may trim side field for tomorrow mowing if not do some puttering.

Need to mow, but need some rain first, to moisten the ground. Maybe a shower today.

Installed the outside security cam and solar panel...I'm really impressed with the quality of the video and the speed of the notifications...tested it last night...goes to black and white unless you activate the built in LED light when it switches to color. Only one critter detected last night...a big moth near the lens.

heading out I go through WVA and Kentucky.

looking for places to stop for lunch, see something interesting

never been a horse person so a field of Kentucky thoroughbreds isn't my thing despite the beauty.
I'm thinking rolling fields of Kentucky should be similar to rolling fields of Virginia.
this is where I use google maps to zoom in and then click on museum, or zoo or aquarium.
sometimes if you slowly zoom in and out different labels appear with different info, whatever the mapmaker
felt worthwhile. Google controls it all in some way and very likely profits enormously from the control of data.
I'm not a battlefield person either, sadly plenty of those. But cannons are good...

this shows the going out and coming back meeting point, route 81.
hope to be seeing Buppies and then my brother in VA on way home.

if there is any particular local food I should be eating, that is always good to know.
I will be stopping about once a week at a supermarket. Ability to park easily dominates where I stock up.
not sure we have anyone from this area til I get to PJS in St Louis.

Whenever I had a trip to Huntington when I had to wait, I would always get lunch at Griffith & Feil. It’s an old pharmacy with a soda fountain and food. It’s easily over 100 years old.

Good Morning.
67° and partly cloudy with a high just over 80 today.

Yesterday didn’t follow the plan. I ended up going to Palm Beach, departing Philly at 5 pm. Didn’t get back home until midnight. The east coast was covered with thunderstorms from Florida to NC. To make matters worse, the routes over the Atlantic east of the weather were shut down for a temporary flight restriction, usually for VIP movement, but no good explanation. At 45,000 feet we were over most all of the weather, but sometimes not by much.

That light is lightning from above. We could see it all around us. I made a video, and captured it that way, otherwise I never could have reacted quick enough to get a picture.

This evening will be another late night, we are playing at a fair in Dublin, PA, starting around 6:30~7 until closing after the fireworks. The real work is moving the gear and setting it up, as we are providing the PA and stage lighting. I got a batch of stuff loaded into the Kubvan before I left yesterday, but there is plenty more to go.

Just got a call from my wife, she is at a farmers market with a low tire on her transit connect van, I’ll bring her the Milwaukee inflator and let her pump it up before she leaves.

So it looks like I’ve got a busy day today, even if I don’t do anything outside here or work on the old folks home.

Ct, 61 to start going to 82 or so ! Humidity still not bad but creeping up a bit !

Yesterday I noticed the 6 volt battery in my Ford Model A is not chump as quick as it used to. I pulled it out yesterday afternoon and it is almost 6 years old. I will hopefully get a replacement today !

Got mowing done yesterday, so plans for today are go for a hike and then go to Oneill’s Autoparts for a new battery ! Put the new battery back in and do some shaping and trimming on the front schrubberie!

Pool is looking good as of late, not too much coming down from the trees now !
Going through a lot of chlorine with water temp of about 90 degrees!

Scotty, I went thru all those test in 2017. Got a bad diagnosis. Turns out problem was reaction to a med. Get a second opinion.

Ron , thanks, I am waiting for the test results from the second test which I should get Monday ! Hopefully nothing too serious!

Kyle that cake looks delicious! Can almost taste it !

Good morning! A cool 70˚ this morning with an E wind heading to the mid 90s.
Yesterday was suppose to be a take easy day but my wife was ready to mow the yard and start putting away the garage stuff in the new cabinets.

She said she could see no bruising on the ribs so I was good to go, (as long as I don't cough or laugh). We got the yard done without too much pain but she had to help a lot adjusting the height of the shelves and we got about half finished putting the stuff away. This morning we will finish off the garage, yea!

Kyle hope you had a good birthday was that pic of the cake from a magazine or was that the actual cake?

Norton is coming back
will there be a new Norton Commando in your driveway?

Nicest motorcycle I ever had was a Norton 850 Commando. Wasn't the best at everything, but was powerful, sounded great, and handled well.

Forecast back to 100F today. Aahhh, it was nicer in the low 90's. Rigby and I just enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the sun come up while it is cool.

The 12v compressor mod for the motorhome refrigerator requires a 10ga wire from the battery to the refer. Pulling new wire like that is kind of tricky with motorhomes-- but that's today's project.
