Good morning, the low is 33 and the high going to 41°F. Wind SSW 7 mph. 30% chance of showers.
I have a tree feller coming here today. I have 11 trees to come down, 8 of them out back and 3 threatening the driveway and sheds. The three are widow makers.
I have a new office chair I am breaking in. Quite different to the one I was in yesterday and for the past 6 years.
When I was hauling freight, the dispatcher was the one that was pushing for me to run through snow storms. I track the storms and on more than one occasion I had tracked the storm to go south of the great lakes and the dispatcher would route me south of the lakes, even though there was a clear route north of the lakes he would still route me south. That lasted one storm and then I decided that the job wasn't worth my life and went the way I felt safest. That idiot was in Winnipeg, MB. Fire me if you want, I don't give a crap.
People with back trouble will have it all their lives. Myself, I have degenerative disk disease, 3 disks stacked together, all egg shaped. That was diagnosed back in my mid 30's. I was advised against fusing them. I am now 77 and still going strongish. I do have to be careful, but that doesn't mean do nothing.
Kyle, your son will have to look after his back for the rest of his life, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. He just cannot overdo it getting there.
M7040, good thoughts and well wishes for both of your sons.
Stay safe all
