more snow out than I thought, looks like about three inches
shoveled the walkway and path out to greenhouse, nice and warm in there
going up to 37 today, but mid 20's tonight, 41 tomorrow, not sure I want to pack down the snow with car, makes
icy tracks but really don't want to pull snow blower out again.
will see what the light brings

speaking of light, anyone notice our days are starting to get longer, bright out earlier?
I noticed that yesterday at 6:30am I could see a little outside, used to be 7am.
I'm all for more sunlight.

good morning, 31 going to 33 today and snowing. Does not look like as much as forecasted. maybe a few inches at the end. Will wait for it to stop soon and then clean up

The Duluth overalls showed up yesterday.

Wngsprd, I do see Northern Flickers here. But not at my feeders. They are out in the back fields. They fly from one fence post to another when I take a ride out back with Mule. Hope to get some pictures of them when they come back to my area.

Seven hours sleep last night not bad. Temperature 32 and falling no snow not surprised

Windy and cold all day like winter. Need to buy new office phone old one croaked. Peanut butter sandwich for dinner I really do like.

shoveled sidewalk and put down some ice melt.
my driveway was down to bare gravel when this snow came in, so I expect snow to melt pretty quickly but
still need to eyeball it again. Likely I'll have to get snowblower out anyway to clear up mess out by the road.
The huge hump of snow that will turn to concrete tonight at 25.
so it has to go

oh to find a couple teenagers outside looking for cash, with shovels
that's not going to happen.

33 outside right now. Heading to 40. Looks like that snow missed us. Ok by me. Last weather hyped report at 11PM was calling for anywhere between 2 and 6 inches.

We got less than an inch, a dusting. No shovel needed.

Will start with the Milk House again this AM, mud and waterproofing on the agenda.
