Good morning
46° and sunny. That’s todays high, temps are falling quickly.
Today, I got out of bed, took a shower and made the bed. I still can’t taste anything, but my fever seems to have broken.
I’m going to try to keep moving as long as I can, hopefully I’ll feel better as the day progresses.

Stupid drivers test was riddled with law questions... WTF is the matter with people.
FAA pilot exam asked: "GPS orbiting satellites provide navigation signals to your aircraft. How high is their orbit?" (Answer was something like 10,000 *miles* above Earth.)

42F here in the Formerly-Great-State of California. This old farmhouse is not insulated so inside temp was 1 degree warmer at first. Built a fire and am off for a blood test. Nothing serious, just the regular installment so the doctor can beech. His mantra is: "if it tastes good, it's bad for you."

successful morning playing with plants
Two babies relocated and potted
A friend of mine who is a potter and lives within a mile of Ken
is going to choose a pot she made, of some critter, which will hold the parent plant.
Two more kids in there to relocate at some point.

needed an operating light, didn't want to hurt the mom, and needed two hands so
the little Makita flashlight with bendable head came in handy

amaryllis popping up

nice little succulent planters from Amazon, chuckled they called the one an alpaca/llama
as if there was no difference
actually not much, they are related but I had to look it up:

Llamas range from 200 to 350 lbs., and stand about 42 to 46 inches while alpacas weigh in at 100 to 175 lbs., and stand 34 to 36 inches. Personality – Alpacas are very gentle and shy, while llamas are very confident and brave animals. Alpacas are more comfortable as herd animals, while llamas are solitary animals.
llamas are going to be a lot bigger than their cousins. Their faces are also dissimilar: alpacas have small, blunt faces with short ears, while llamas have more-elongated faces with banana-sized ears. Another key difference is their hair. Alpacas have shaggy hair that is used for fleece production

are you getting hungry for lunch?
McDonalds has your number
they are bringing back the double Big Mac

if you get anything that looks even remotely like this,
well you won't.

likely one of the more unhealthy things in the world to eat

Good morning! Low of 20°, high supposed to hit 34°, sunny. Winds 15-20, gusts to 35.

The system bringing us snow tomorrow is also a 'windy' one. Already high wind warnings posted for the southern portion of the state. Could gust as high as 80 mph. We are only supposed to get 20-30 mph winds.

Kilroy, neat "F tree 50" ..... wonder how long it took to grow up that high? Have fun at 'work'.....

Paul, hope you get over that crud soon. Hope the fever stays away.

Successful local grocery run yesterday, Costco trip today. Hope not too many people since I'll get there when it opens.

Everyone have a great day!

67°F and .2 inches rain

Appears we dodged the major storm yesterday but made for a strange but wet day. Rain, stop, rain, stop. Flooding reported other areas but not us.

Taking Makani to vet this afternoon. Hope to determine cause of intermittent limp. Sometimes holds paw up, walk with a pronounced limp and then run full speed. No reaction to my touching or manipulating. Maybe he’ll get X-ray.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

When I was trying to reduce my carb and sugar intake my diet basically said if it tastes good throw the food away and eat the box. lol

Afternoon to everyone, currently 49°

Will leave here around 3 to go to son's house to help him put a tarp on roof around chimnney..A little too much wind and rain last night.. Don't know how long he will have to wait for roofers to come and fix with all the damages in this area..

It is sunny and getting drier today, that's a plus..

Hope everyone has a great day..

Mark
