What is some of your Pet Peeve's

Two great inexpensive concerts for me that I recall vividly one was Nitty Gritty Dirt Band at a county fair when I lived in California yeah I probably fall into the cliche of fishin in the dark anyways next was Violent Femmes at eagles ballroom in Milwaukee. Both were smaller venues inexpensive tickets very good live performances and I was accompanied by great people. Concert Tix these days are outrageous and I have little desire to attend any concerts anymore, however maybe T S.O if my wife desires to go again.

I wonder how many people even remember the Violent Femmes, let alone have been to one of their concerts.

I want you to know this will go on your permanent record! 😀

Ooooh...Millwaukee....did you ever see the "Booze Brothers" back in the early 80's? I got some permanent hearing loss from being stuck right infront of the house speaker cabinet. Kick-ass band.....

I've heard of them, but doubt I'd recognize any of their material.

It's not just tire shops.

As usual when getting a new vehicle it goes on the lift and I check all fluid levels, lug nut torque, look for loose or missing fasteners, etc.

Well, in recent history one actually had all the correct fluid levels (a '23 Durango) but a '23 Ram 3500 made up for it.

Low rear diffs I'm used to, but not over 90 psi in the rear tires. And that was at just above freezing with the tires in the shade.

I would post one of their songs, but those I remember really don't fit with this site's family venue. :😵

If you lived thru the late-1980's, there's no way you could have completely avoided Blister in the Sun.

The most amazing thing about that band was that they were from Wisconsin! Always sounded like Brit punk pop, to me.

Every teenage boy in 1988 used to love belting out the lyrics to Add it Up. :D They were a fleeting and not very important blip in the grand scheme of pop music history, but they do mark a particular time to remember for many Gen-X'ers.
