LS, now you know why I quit plowing snow for municipalities. One guy radios in that he is all done, patrolman asks if the corners are all pushed back and get a reply of 'pretty much'. Pretty much means you gotta check.
The two accidents I got into with a snow plow were both on other guys' routes that did a 'pretty much' job. I wrote off two cars and neither accident were my fault.

Meetings……I really don’t miss meetings. Most I suffered through were a waste of time and resounces.

I found I could get uninvited by asking if the meeting was valuable enough to the company to the company to justify the salary being paid to each of the participants.

And I am still having issues typing a reply to this site. Long delay between touching a key and anything appearing on screen

Two front LED flood lights installed and working. The rear lights will wait until I get a rocker switch and the ambition to take the roof off again...Spring.
Now to get on with the rest of my day... Medicate my knee and the rest of me, too.

Warmed up to 56 today, much nicer than yesterday. Did Costco run this morning for OJ and a couple other things, half full cart totaled $239. As I was walking out behind a line of at least 10 people pushing full carts, I got to wondering how much do they sell in a day at costco. Well over $1000 walking out the door when I did, probably took about 2 minutes for them to clear the registers. Maybe $500K per day?

Anybody got a good crab dip receipe?

Have to admit that by far the majority of meetings I attended were well run. Scheduled staff meetings were usually time based with the senior officer having scheduled commitments. Project meetings a bit more relaxed but for the most part productive use of time. Worst offenders would be training sessions, not really a meeting in my mind and most often not even pertinent to most tasks. drug and Alcohol prevention didn’t change our habits. Sensitivity training didn’t have much effect on coworker relationships. Both got some boxes checked, usually for someone we didn’t even know.

Good morning, yikes I’m only 90+ pages behind, been a couple of weeks since I posted here.

25° now highs in the upper 40’s and sunny today.
Not a lot going on besides getting somewhat ready for winter and Christmas. I’ve always enjoyed the holidays but this year just seems different. Mrs says I’m just old and cranky, she’s probably right.
