I hope your wife is better today, too, Buppies. Hope they get the rest of the Pulaski fire. The Madison fire is now over 1,000 acres...they've cleared a perimeter at 1,600 acres to try to contain it. It was entirely on state and private land, but has now spread into the mountains of Shenandoah NP.

My wife and I took her vehicle to the Toyota dealer for its annual state inspection. Always a fun place to wait, since I can stroll around including the back lot looking at the new vehicle inventory. Plus, they had a new free coffee machine that makes various coffee beverages...my wife liked the vanilla latte...I had a shot of espresso. Very good.

I saw my first ever $80K+ Toyota pickup...something called a Tundra Capstone Hybrid. Very nice, but not sure about those white leather seats. Had a rare Supra...not sure I could crawl in and out of it. Inventory was bigger than last time I was there, but still not near earlier normal levels.

Hit Home Depot...then Hobby Lobby...BEF, I was like you...waiting outside for a "I'll just be a minute" that lasted a while...and delicious meal at the Chinese restaurant.

Got the sinks cleaned up as best I could yesterday, wife did a really good job cleaning. But around noon they are going to the professionals for re-glazing.

Also today, I need to finish the metal work on the Milk House entrance walk way. Everything is measured out, waiting to be cut. I will measure one more time. There was an equipment bay right outside the door to the Milk House. We kept it, wrapped it and will make use of the space accordingly. Adds a nice place to put your shoes and stuff before you get into the Milk House.

Need to start shopping for tile. Now the detail work starts.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

21.0F going to low 60s, sunny day forecasted.

Chiro visit was good, got and adjust Kent while I was there for CTS treatment. We then hit the thrifts, and Mrs scored some good Eddie Bauer fleece jackets that were just being put out on the rack, our combined haul from that store (I got a Chinese cleaver, OFFICE SPACE DVD, a large Igloo cooler, and a screen colander) for less than the price of one fleece new. Then got a badly-needed haircut.

on Wednesday, fill valve on one of the commodes at Mom’s house broke, so I replaced it, but the feed line was leaking. picked up a replacement and today will get that installed, the rest of the day’s plans are TBD once Mrs awakens…

Good Morning
26 to start the day, supposed to make it to 55 this afternoon. Another clear day.

Yesterday was able to complete the training before lunch. I was able to get the remaining speaker ready to package and do some more cleanup. Collected all the trash and recycling and got it down to the street.
Got a call to sit in for a sick bassist, so packed up some gear and headed out right after dinner. Called into a zoom meeting for the RC club which lasted the length of the drive. Very efficient use of time.

Had a good time playing music, a lot of stuff that I’d never played before, but had charts on the trusty iPad.

Today I’m off to pick up the the Prius v from the detail shop right after breakfast, then we should make a Costco run, as there is one close to the detail shop. We have to go to my nephew’s wedding this afternoon, it is outside in a tent, I hope that we don’t freeze. Not much else planned, other than trying to get the speaker packed and dropped off at FedEx. No music tonight, I’m glad I got to play last night.

frosty morning, went downtown and picked up donuts and cookies for service station guys.
came home and Garmin would not turn on. Maybe it didn't like being cold. Brought it inside and put it
on charger. That made it happy. It sometimes has a mind of its own.
I had to clean out the engine cover cubbies of all the crap I had stored in there, they have to pull that inside cover off.
I'm really interested to see in there, give everything a look over.

I also pulled my new floor carpeting out, better to have them work on rubber floor
than my beige carpeting

Good morning! 40˚F heading to the mid 70s with a South wind and partly cloudy skies.
Home PT is coming early today so got to get a move on. I get discharged from Home PT Tuesday and start out patient PT Friday. I'm doing PT at a different place so I don't know the "Igor" at the new place.

Basically it's still swinging 40º - 85º daily. Makes for a chilly morning and hot afternoon. Dress in T shirt, sweat shirt, and a light jacket in the am... By 1:00 wishing I had shorts on. Everything is brown, we call it Fall. Rains should come soon.
Yesterday I raked up and removed rocks from a neighbors horse pasture. Mowed my lower field some in the evening. The Mustard and company was 2 ft tall again. Last mowing of the year. I lost count of the cuttings. Generally once or twice is enough but we got more than average rain and the same predicted for the coming year.
Made a deal with my absentee neighbor to mow his property annually. County was doing a chit job of it too early or too late.
I put 130 hrs on the tractor this year, about 3 times what I used to put on the old tractor. You could say I've been enjoying it.
