looks good Rip, you'll get there.
that building certainly wasn't built in a day...

in our throwaway society it so gratifying to see things restored.
We are less the owners of the property but the stewards.
You are sure a good steward for the generations to come.

Good Morning
39 a with a high of 47 under fair skies today.

Yesterday was productive, made measurable progress in the clean up, one speaker out the door and classroom set up. I ran out and got a wireless trackball so that I can run the PowerPoint from a comfortable position while the laptop on the docking station is feeding the projector.
Tested perfectly, hopefully it works like I want it to today.
I can’t help thinking about Dennis’s challenge with technology working at his church when it wants to.

I’ve got to hop in the shower, grab a bowl of special k and head out to the airport to pick up some of the class. I’ll let you know how it went.

Morning all, 40 going up to 49, cloudy, heading to our first freeze tonight.
Got MRI results back, not cancer, but no answer as to what is going on either.

If leaves dry out enough will need to move some.
Maybe finish cleanup from party if I have enough energy.
Need to clean up areas to store all the hallloween decorations.

Sons band playing in NYC in 2 weeks, hope I am up for the trip, lots of friends say they will attend.

Diet is mostly rice and veggies, but still not helping enough, frustrating.

Be well,

Good morning, the low is 21 and the high will be about 32°F. Wind N 5 mph. Sunny!

We got about 3" of fluffy white stuff yesterday and overnight.
I am not going to do anything with it. Just drive on it. Thursday through Saturday the temps will be in the 40's. Bye, bye snow.

Today Junior goes to the vampire and I go to get my nuts tightened up. After tire swap by law we have to get our nuts retorked after driving 100kms (65 miles). I did close to 70 miles yesterday, so it is time.

About ten years ago, the company I work for had supposedly retorked the nuts on all 5 axles on my older set of trains (1988), they had Dayton rims on them. 10,000 miles into the season I found out that the only thing the winter work guys did was take the retorque stickers off. That could have been VERY costly for the company, but I caught it and whipped into a tire shop, told them to retork all 5 axles and order new spacers and nuts. Went in two days later and replaced all 5 spacers (one per wheel end on each axle) and 60 wheel nuts. It cost them a buck or two, but it would have cost them a lot more if one of those wheels had come off.

That is about it for now, stay safe all

If it’s windows OS, make sure it’s updated well in advance. If it’s Mac you probably ok.

Good morning! 33.3˚F, frost on the ground, will see later if any plants froze. I did not cover anything last night.

Yesterday I tried to cut down to 3 pills (1/4 dossage) so it was a quite uncomfortable day. Today is PT day so I take 1/2 of prescribed dosage today. Paper tape seems to be the answer for my allergic reaction to the adhesive on the bandaids. It does not stick as well and on a joint it is a challenge. The tube netting did not work it slid too much. But only a few more days of bandages. I improved really well the first few days but now progress is slow or backwards because of the swelling.

Kyle have you started working on the boat motor? I have not been out since my surgery, maybe today I can try to get in and out of the car for practice for tomorrow's Dr. apt. I did call the "farm" to find out how high the first step is on the Kubota and it is 18", so that height step up will be incorporated in my PT.

just got bill from trash company, 98.25 for three months of weekly single large can of trash plus
another can for recycling. They included a warning of rate hikes next time.
as long as they are actually recycling what they should be, I think it's reasonable.
during covid they were just chucking everything together, regardless if you had paid for recycling.
clearly a lot more expensive for them to get rid of recycling than it is trash.

and that huge mound at the bottom of the County, that blight on the edge of the Delaware, Grows Landfill.
Aptly named. Just grows and grows and grows.

Don, slow and steady. Just takes a while to heal when you aren't a spring chicken, or veal shank, or...
couldn't quite find an equivalent that was vegan
swelling has to go down while you constantly irritate it during PT. I'm sure you will do well.

Good Morning!!!! 56F @ 8:15AM. Sun and clouds mixed. High 76F. Winds light and variable.
Looks like the 10-day is calling for light rain starting Friday evening, on and off through Monday. Might get a little soggy on the second lap south.

Bad surprise when I went to move the van yesterday and it was deader than a door nail. I'd mistakenly left the light on in the trailer, so the battery was flat. I put it on a charger overnight, and it looks like it came back OK, but I haven't tried starting it yet. Fingers crossed.

My buddy from Washington state overnighted about four hours north, so he should be here before noon. I need to get moving to pick up the tilt trailer and groceries.

Happy Hump Day...

Yesterday's 45mph winds took care of my fallen leaves. Knee is feeling a little better every day, which is a good sign.
