LOL. Agree... but then it's all about purpose.
besides looking seriously cool
gather a bit short on amenities.
I wonder if Popgadget's grandson will wind up driving it someday, taking grandpop to his favorite pizza place.

Popgadget, awesome mpg.
adaptive cruise is marvelous, I love to use it on the Volvo.

I think cruise control makes you a better driver and sure keeps you from getting a ticket from inattention.
Adaptive cruise makes you a safer driver also.
If you set speed limit at 3 over or 8 over or whatever you think is safe for the local roadway, you really can relax more while driving.
I usually set the radar distance at max or one below. Of course in heavy traffic I have to reduce that by one bar or folks will constantly dart in front of me.

Morning all, going to stay around 60 and light rain so far.
Party went well, 20 or so people showed up including some we haven't seen in years. Even had an old high school buddy of my wifes show up.
Weather was perfect, but had to take in all the electronics last night since we knew it was going to rain today. Got to sleep a little after 1am, so not too bad.

great progress Don, good to hear pain is starting to subside a bit.

Good to see you back Helo, missed your updates, glad to see your on the mend.

I made some blackberry infused vodka for last nights party, feedback was good. Too bad I could not have any :-(

Drew - Tmobile works well in Europe and asia, just have to figure out how to get you and RV there

Be Well,

I found that setting the max distance was an invitation for reckless drivers to demonstrate their technique. Even an intermediate setting found some pretty aggressive performers. But I have to remember that I was going through the NYC metro area.

Good morning! Low was 31°, been holding at 33° for the last 4 hours. Supposed to hit a high of 45°. Heavy wet fog now, chances for a few showers, then snow showers this evening..... may get up to an inch.

Low tonight dropping to 16° and a 30% chance of snow showers. Highs only in the 40's until Thursday, then into the 50's.

Leaves finally turning colors on all the trees, there were a couple 'early', but that was strange....

Good progress on the addition over the past weeks. Exterior shell complete, sealed to the elements. Rough electric done, half of the insulation done, should get the rest completed by tomorrow.
Then my favorite.... drywall ---- NOT! There is just something about drywall that I don't like.... can't tell what, just one of those things....
The son and GS will do all the lifting, so maybe I might start to like it better! 😁 ;)😁

We went and saw our Granddaughter perform in her marching band yesterday in a regional competition that was held in Albuquerque. They made it to the state championship and are traveling to Pueblo Colorado today.
Lots of good bands performing.

Everyone have a great day!

Paul, you are absolutely right about NYC. Been that way a long time.
50 years ago in a company car with the DM onboard approaching one of the NY tunnels, he yelled at me
constantly for leaving too much room in front. He said you'll get hit that way.
counterintuitive but that assumes safe driving

as you know we get a lot of NY drivers coming into Bucks County.
Pretty easy to spot. They don't usually stop at stop signs, they tailgate you and are
usually on the phone. I'm sure the folks in Lancaster feel the same way about Philadelphia drivers.
And should

I use Christmas lights as an indicator that my block heaters have electricity. Primarily the tractor as I cannot see the shelter from the kitchen window. No window on the north wall. I do the same for the Dodge even though I CAN see it in its' shelter.
All the lights are run and work as intended.

Energy conservation day today

679F and no rain.

Looks like a great day to watch some football.

Need to make a dump run

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
I would expect steam at an ambient temperature of 679F.:ROFLMAO:
Dump run can wait until a day with no football.
