Just checked the price again- looks like they are up to $259 now.
Well they've come out with the "new" one. DCF961B, rated up to 1200 ft lbs fastening torque and 1750 ft-lbs of max breakaway torque. Most places seem to be selling it for ~$370.Note that DeWalt is introducing a newer more powerful beast, but it will probably exceed $200.

Don't consider the Thor wimpy and it's the only one I own besides the IR 1" drive which is a tank and heavy. The IR is really designed for mounting and dismounting 10 hole Bud wheels. You just need a 'real' compressor to run either, one with serious CFM.
