Good morning!!!!

Good evening all. 49ºF for the start, clear sky, moderate breeze. Moderate to brisk wind, clear sky, and high temp was 67ºF. Chapel to start day, pancakes for breakfast, got kitchen cleaned up and front porch swept. Step daughter stopped by twice, so no nap.
Ron nice rain. Hope the neighbor projects were inside. Hope you had better luck with your projects today. nice cardinal.
Drew nice rain. I am enjoying riding in cooler temps with less humidity. Never thought of it as a competition.
Paul my memory isn't what it used to be, 10K was a recommendation, not a rule for pilots under Part 91. Then there is Part 135 and Part 121 regs. :
Phil sorry about your laptop. Hope weather improves for you. Are you getting a Chrome book?
Drew good luck slowing down the cat.
Don I learned to water ski behind a 16Ft Lone Star semi-V. If you could ski behind that outboard you all were a lot better than us ;).
Drew the old motors are real simple, but parts are hard to come, anything that sits for years without being run dry will likely need a carb kit. Finding the proper fuel to oil mix ratio can hard to find for oddballs.
Paul nice rain. Glad you were able to improve the shop, nice repair on toilette. YYou could trim the handle so it can turn. Glad you good the covers installed, sorry about the collateral damage. Glad you able to get music and pic synced up on new phone. Hope trip went well.
Don bet collector will salivate over that ammo box.
Bill hope cat scan went well. Nice story on your boat. We had a 100 horse Johnson that burned marina gas quite well. We forgot to run it dry, next time out, had to have it worked on, just needed a can of carb cleaner, and run it till the engine ran ok.
Thomas hope you got your agenda done.
Drew nice scrambled egg mix. pics of the water fountain in operation please :)
Kyle sorry to hear Texas not playing nice about old outboard coming out of estates. Years ago I acquired a 20 hp Johnson from SIL father's estate. My DIL was able to get a title for it in Missouri. Took like 6 or 8 months to get it. Glad you got trannie out. Are the dowel pins special? Can machine or drill material away to press out pins?
Buppies hope you had a good day. prayer sent.
Frits hope you got the soil moisture back up.
Kilroy that would be neat to see the pic of a Jon boat with a Jetski drive :)
Frits nice work on the hornets.
Drew nice looking stabilizer.
Kilroy nice hayride was fun. Hope woodlot visit went well. I have not seen sweet potato wine.
Ken hope fire was nice, too warm hear for fire yet. Sorry to hear about limited diet, prayer sent. Hope boiler removal goes smooth.
James glad docks ready for winter. thanks for the color pics, they are beautiful.
Scott(vt) glad you got the staples out, 1 1/2 hour wait is ugly. Hope beach trip goes smoothly.
RNG sorry about chain hanger covering vin#. Hope you get rain soon, and fire inspection goes well.
David hope found some entertaining football.
Chris sorry about the accidents and slow traffic. Hope the Though the Roof works. Sorry about your sister getting Covid again. Hope mowing goes well.
Kilroy hope the dog is not too disappointed. Hope you figured out dinner :)
Dennis glad good worship, and good food at pot luck. Happy Birthday to son
Billy nice rain. Glad to hear trip went well, and got family time and class reunion was fun.
RS good to hear 10 day forecast looking better. Hope you can get your well producing better. Glad the Browns won. pretty color pic.
Bill the gas price is really high, Here locally price still dropping slowly.
Randy(wag) good to hear good sleep and you can get caught up on chores.

Good morning! Up too early also. 44˚F heading only to the 60s today, this is winter weather, what happened to Fall? Maybe if I go back to sleep when I wake up it will be Fall again.

All items left over from the estate sale will be online and I found out they do ship smaller items. The bidding starts at $2.50 and raises are $2.50.

Kyle if no-one else bids on the boat and motor you can get them both for $2.50 ea. Kilroy there is another 2 speed drill I did not see that does turn. That ammo box would be a good deal at $2.50 also.

edit: I just checked and The house items including the boat on page 2 are online Kyle start bidding. Kyle the dryer is a good deal also for $2.50 works perfect. The garage items (boat-motor and ammo box) and shed items are not on-line yet. I'll post again when I see them. Kyle the 14' Aluminum flat bottom boat (with no leaks) is listed as a canoe.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 44° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 51° with continued cloudy skies. Another conserve energy day yesterday. Spent afternoon with a bowl of popcorn and watched NASCAR race. Will get back at cleaning up gardens today.

good morning all
cool 43 going up to low 60's today

I'm off early to endocrinologist, expect to get lectured on gaining weight, but at least my cholesterol and other issues in range, except
for sugar. I'm at 6.0 AIC and that means it's lecture time.

I have to take hydrocortisone every day for adrenal insufficiency, caused by adrenal cancer.
was told I would have a hard time losing weight on that. Sure have. Have watched my weight slowly creep up, not good.
But at least I'm still here...

time to start thinking about winterizing equipment. I only have to worry about powerwasher, everything else is air cooled or electric.

when i get home today will put floating water fountain out in ditch, see if it works.
I normally can't use the pattern nozzles, the water flies out of the bowl.

have a good, safe happy day

Enjoy your day all.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).
45.5F, might make 50, and other cloudy dreary blustery day with a chance of passing showers midday, radar looks like this is accurate.

HVAC kept coming on, so fired up the woodstove about 4PM and it hasn’t been on since 😁

Mrs found a local guy selling a resin deck box and a plastic outdoor vertical tool shed for $25 and $15 respectively, going to pick those up hopefully without getting rained on…
Then mom needs to go grocery shopping,
otherwise puttering about the house for the rest of the day. Might be a good day for firing up outdoor sauna in preparation for the oncoming colder weather.

Don - anticipating the link to peruse other items of potential interest. I am looking forward to getting that stuck drill back into working order — that is half the fun!

When I had my boat, the iboats.com forum was amazingly similar to TBN with the hopeful community and wealth of information. Good leads on hard-to-find parts on vintage items, or unofficial cross-referencing on substitute parts. REMEMBER TO REPLACE YOUR IMPELLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!

Good Morning!!!! 61F @ 3:45AM. Partly cloudy skies this morning will become overcast during the afternoon. High 79F. Winds light and variable.

Add me to the Up Too Early Club.

The call I was expecting from the local fire station came very early yesterday morning, surprising for a Sunday. Set 2 PM as the time for the inspection, and when it rolled around, there were two fire trucks and a pickup coming down the drive. It was the whole company with seven men, including the chief! Turns out I was one of the first visits they made this year, and the chief turned it into a training exercise. Took a little longer that way, but it was interesting. Also verified that the trucks carried the right adapter to fit on the water line from the hill top tank. All the record keeping was done on a laptop right there in the meadow, and I had the burn permit emailed to me before they left. It's good until the end of April, the anticipated start of next year's fire season.

Before that I got a couple wheel chocks mounted in the 14' trailer and made sure all the tires were properly inflated. Then tried to fit the new sway bar onto the van, and learned the back wheels will have to come off to provide access. And since I was short two M10 nuts, I left it at that. I hope to find the nuts when I get into town this morning to do the VIN verification at the DMV. Hope it's not too busy.
