Plans for today...auto parts owner call asking me if I could work today 8-12,his driver going to be no show I agree,,,afternoon continue with leave control until leg sends warn signal or Mrs. gives me the look.

I worked for 5 years doing consulting for the company I retired from. It was a good let down from the full time job. Plus it gave me the extra money I needed/wanted to buy a motorhome and equipment I wanted for it. Good thing is it never affected my heath. Take care of your knee first.

good Saturday morning all
much cooler, high in 50's today.

Fedex says my rv stabilizer is due in today.
They haven't gotten their dates right yet.
one week to get here by truck from Washington. $45
guess that is the new normal.

now that I think about it....probably should have tried to source it locally, could have saved a lot of money in shipping.
But this rv place in Washington was very professional and turned around orders in less than 24 hours.

I'm supposed to be going to a memorial today, ex BIL, not thrilled with getting inside a jam packed
Quaker Meeting and having two hundred folks breathe on me....I think I will sit in the back and quietly put on a mask.

Been a tough time for the Old Guard here. First my partner's wife died, then he died, a real leader in the community, then my
BIL got brain cancer and died. He is a Tinsman, family has been here since 1700's and still run the oldest lumberyard in the US.
Our families all went to public school here together.
Our gen is biting the dust.

Ken, hope you are feeling better. I wish my back was stronger so I could help you with that garage.

Neck muscle spasms coming from parathyroid not the wreck. 57 years is a long time Ron my parents made it to 60 if memory serves me correctly.

Got 7800 steps yesterday leg cramp at 6:30 this morning let me know but walking is good.

Good morning! Cool front blew in yesterday afternoon so it really feels like a Fall day.
58˚F, N wind at 14, clear skies heading to only the low 70s.
Last Day of the estate sale everything is 1/2 price, except my 5'X10" trailer it will be a firm price of $900, besides I may need it to haul unsold items to Goodwill. The Warehouse Scale sold on 25% off Friday, so my brother's son will be happy he does not need to haul that heavy thing around again.
There is too much to do to get the house ready to sell before my surgery so we will have some lost prime weeks with this pretty weather.

If you were closer I’d take that trailer —- MRS just said we should invest in something bigger, and that would haul our quad! Even at your full ask the trailer should go quickly.

Morning all, 46 going up to 52, cloudy , calling for an inch of rain today.
Choir car wash tomorrow, looks like rain will clear out and son will need to work it
Busy day at work with more infighting, our great management is so proud of themselves though.

Nothing got done again last night, kid off to take PSATs this morning.

Thanks for the offer Drew - on hold for the garage for a bit, still need to measure it out for the next order of boards and still have some furring strips to put up.

Monday they come to pick up the old Tarm boiler, company called to confirm, a good sign.
Thing must weigh 800 pounds. Took 4 of us just to move it onto blocks out of the way.

New boiler works great, seems to provide endless hot water and is running a .85 GPH vs. the old 1.20GPH, We will see how much I hopefully save based on how it works. But it certainly seems to spend less time working than the old one and the utility room does not warm up like with the Tarm.

Sorry to hear about all the people passing on, my Mom left us at 63 a few days after the wife and I came back from our honeymoon, she had been sick for over a year at that time. Think she was holding on for our return.

Back to sleep for me now that son is at the school taking his test for 3 hours.
