Got word my grandfathers farm is being sold at auction by the estate of my cousin who owned it. It appraised way higher than I ever imagined, so I won't be buying it. don't know how it appraised for what it did. None of the buildings are usable, it's all overgrown and very steep hillsides.

But you don't have to bid the appraised price do you? Who is the executor of the cousins estate? You can save him/her thousands by using an attorney instead of an auctioneer or real estate broker.

Going thru probate, they said sell at sheriff auction. They said 2/3 of appraised is minimum. don't know what will happen if they don't get that. We have a lawyer involved. I would have liked to have had the land.

Hospice just relaxing on the couch.

This is what needs replaced. It has to go down to get removed. I just watched a craftsman youtube video showing it being replaced, most craftsman were husqvarna mowers. Apparently pushing the brake allows it to drop down, I'll have to pull mower out of shed to check it out.
