good morning all
and boy is it interesting here in Rodanthe NC, Outer Banks.
I am rocking and rolling, 21-29mph steady winds, gusting much higher, they expect 50mph gusts today and tomorrow. Quite a storm coming up the coast.
woke up early to all the wiggling around, feels a bit similar to boating...

I hope the ebike is made for rain, it got soaked on way down here, though there is a cover on it now. I think. It may be blown out into the ocean by now, but I think I hear it wap wapping back there.

brought my rain gear, once it's light out, will go out and get soaked to get some pics.

Morning all!
48 going to a wonderful 67. Need to get outside stuff cleaned up as we are looking at 3 more days of rain coming.
Got back from Niagara yesterday. Wife and I had a great time! Totally awesome experience! We did both sides and did all the excursions except the zipline.(no way)
Waiting on delivery of two new phones today. Someone has to be here to sign for them.
While I wait might take apart the garden and compost up all the plantings. If I have time I need to add in the manure and get it all tilled. Ended up with 12 butternut squash from two plants! Will cut them off the vine, give them a wash and set out to harden up for a few days.
After that will probably end up moving everything over to the new phones. Hopefully will be a painless procedure.

Coffee is done brewing. 54° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 77° with lots of sun in AM. Then clouds move in. Spent time learning how to use Xfinity Streaming on Bedroom TV. Grass trimming is done. Got car washed. Then puttered in shop. Mostly putting things away. Grocery shopping in morning. Then a visit to Costco for hearing aid test. I need them. Not sure they can help me. More relaxing on back porch in evening.

Buppies, prayers you are getting best treatment for your conditions.

he's a strong guy, I have confidence in his managing this.

hard to describe, but feels like rv is going through a tunnel car wash.
whooshing and washing of rain pelting against sides in 20+mph winds,
gusting much higher soon.
Last night before going to bed, I went around whole bottom of rv and used quick spray wax, very watery stuff, to clean all the road dirt off.
So it looked nice ready for the big hosing down.
This close to the ocean have to assume I'll have a salt film over entire rv
no matter how much it rains.

still dark out, can't wait for light.
brought my rain gear with hood, going to head out to ocean and take some pics. And hopefully again this afternoon.
Should be safe, no trees here, so no flying debris.

I keep waiting for the power to go off.
thankfully most of rv runs on battery and it's 75 degrees out.
I can always start the generator for a little bit to charge up the batteries. a/c kicks on intermittently, which is good, keeps the dampness out of rv. It would really get sticky in here without it right now. Bit of a damp atmosphere...

Rembered I got a front license plate from tractor show last month. Got it installed yesterday.

Thomas, you have had 2 warnings from the Mrs. ....You better heed her warnings.... Who knows what the 3rd will bring..... Are you a gambling man?

Good progress on the addition. Got the small section basically framed. Will finish squaring and sheathing the roof deck tomorrow. Then the next section to start with layout. Hopefully under roof by Sunday. The son and Gs have been doing all the heavy work. They are both learning.....
