Randy(wag) sorry about calendar not transferring to new computer. I keep that on the phone calendar.
HA! I didn't (don't) know you can do that... mind you, I've stated that I've had to be dragged into the 21st Century before and this would apply.

Besides that, this whole scenario started when I attempted to 'upgrade' to my new my mobile phone.

All's well with the day and I'll report tomorrow morning.

62° now, dew point 59°, high around 75° and sunny today!
1st time in a while the dew point has been below 60°. Did manage to get mowing, trimming etc. done last Saturday and its been raining since. Sure wish we could share some rain with others in the drought areas.

Off to do some grocery shopping this morning then run the generator for awhile in case hurricane Lee comes closer than they “predict” this weekend. Other than that just enjoy some puttering around.

Prayers for those in need
Enjoy your day everyone

58 outside this AM. Heading to upper 70's. 86% humidity.

Went looking for a camper with and for the daughter yesterday. She is thinking about heading out west in a few months. It was fun looking at all the various setups and the technology now-a-days. Mini-mobile homes with lots of "city" features. Me, when I use to camp it was matches, some hardtack and jerky, a bottle, compass and sleeping bag. To say I was out of my league wandering around the floor would be appropriate.

She came home with a lot of paperwork. It will be interesting to hear if she settles on one she was bargaining on.

Hope all have a great day. Be safe.

Good Morning!!!! An even 70F @ 4:00AM. Abundant sunshine. High 97F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

I have had the M62 Kubota go into regen when just doing a short time task, and that has had me parking it on a fire safe surface and letting it complete the cycle. It has taken as long as 15 minutes to do so; not very convenient, especially in summertime when the grasses are dry, brown, and very flammable. Most of the time, though, I'm mowing or some other task that takes a while, and then I hardly notice the regen has started. Mostly just a flashing light on the dash. So all in all, regen of the DPF isn't as big a deal as I was afraid it would be.

I think it's a good thing you stuck to your price limit, Kyle. Especially on a used vehicle, one that could have seen a pretty tough service life, leading to the possibility of some big repair bills. Bide your time and stick to your price discipline, and eventually your patience will be rewarded. Oh, and I also think Drew and I should know how you determined how much hair a lady you might be interested in had on her chest...😲🤣

Up early then couldn't get back to sleep, so will get an early start on today's drive and beat the traffic through Sacramento. Probably pay for it with a drowsy afternoon, though.

A friend came over yesterday and we got a little more work done on the VW, figuring out the propane tank mounting and drilling a couple holes in the floor for gray water drain and the propane line. Then we got a couple motorcycles loaded into the van, then some furniture, then a whole bunch of boxes. Probably the heaviest load yet, as more than a few of those boxes were loaded with books and magazines. Good thing I have help lined up to unpack this afternoon.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

58.8F going to upper 70s, chance of scattered showers in the afternoon.

Yesterday’s activities, went well, Subaru brakes working properly (YAY!!!), got in good conversation with one of the owners About property management with heavy equipment and tractors, got into detailed tractor discussion, next thing is she takes us out back to see her fathers John Deere, it looks like a model B, it got badly neglected in his later years and she wants to fix it up, so she will probably be here before long 🤣😂, hubby is into ford galaxie 500s and original J100/J1000 pickups, showed her photos of our Willys Wagoneer, we are all best buds now.

Today will start with moving about 6 armloads of wood from the other fence line rocks to completely fill the big woodshed, taking dogs o woodlot for a walk and bringing the splitter back home to process the pine rounds this weekend, then some house puttering before going to a fundraiser dinner tonight.

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!

Nice balmy and sticky this morning. walked out to.the beach and got pictures for my wife.

I think the kids are gonna catch he!! when they get home from Europe. She's a little ticked off that she couldn't join me here.

Catered breakfast starts in a few minutes. Then a dog and pony show from our diesel laptop supplier for 90 minutes.

Then........ an intercoastal fishing trip

There's one other person from Arkansas here much to my surprise.... I've know the person for years. We had a couple people from corporate shaking their heads when we pounced on them for some app issues that we weren't happy with

All in all besides missing my wife, it's been a decent trip so far
