Yesterday was hot, but not too humid. My wife and I visited with son and DIL until they left, and then watched a movie and rested.

67 high of 95 today, mpre traffic than I have seen in a long time saw 94 most of the way. Pond down further so dry here. Never saw any police lots of people going fast never went 4mph over the limit odd way home used apple maps due to traffic went ways I’ve never been before took one hour longer

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 3.5C and it's presently 15.4C, high overcast with a (at times) strong breeze.

I successfully 'captured' Penelope (caught her napping) and drove into town with her on my lap. I've learnt in the past that she WILL NOT GO into a 'carry all' (I've since bought a pup-tent-like carrier, with a large zip-up top, that has worked). Once I get her into my arms, she's good as gold for the entire trip & experience. Highly recommended that she have a dental de-scaling (which is under anaesthesia), so I've booked that in for the end of this month.

Once home, she was just fine and back to normal... IOW she wasn't 'mad' at me.

Today is 'into town' day for mail/groceries.

Mike Z, as I understand it the Mr Cool mini split has pre charged lines, so I’m guessing if you cut off the excess line there is a way to recharge the system, is that correct? My youngest son has a MrCool that he is not using, I’m thinking about taking it off his hands and use it in the family room of the Vermont house !

71°F and spotty rain showers this morning, got up to 84° today. Had some passing showers all day, and it's raining lightly here now. Might get some boomy stuff in the wee small hours of the morning.

Still some swelling and soreness at and around the sting areas, but much better today. Even the worst one on my left calf is starting to look less hideous. Wife has stopped insisting I go to a doctor.

Replaced the other three LED light cans in the kitchen yesterday morning. I guess getting six-and-a-half years out of them isn't terrible. Replaced three of them a couple months ago. Kitchen is much brighter now. Sure would have been easier if they'd just offer replacement boards, instead of having to replace the entire fixture. Got a bunch of non-insect-offending mowing done after that.

First day back to work after the four day weekend was a busy one. Flew by, though.
