2 days too long for that cuke!
I really don't understand the limits on chainsaws. Maybe keeping very elderly safe, but give the saws a few weeks in the spring and fall to trim. Otherwise it can be quiet.
I am seeing battery powered scooters and such that are riding on sidewalks and streets, exactly the same way that gas powered models used to do (that were outlawed). Is the fact that they are quiet what's delaying the inevitable? The electric ones go just as fast or faster than the gas. When I see them on the sidewalks at work, I tell them to ride in the street, to avoid running into sidewalk pedestrians (car traffic is very limited on campus). I tell pedal bike riders too.
Popgadget,
I see on our ring camera, that my capacitor was delivered today ! Thank you for your very generous offer of testing, but for the price, I thought it was worth a shot at trying this ! I do agree with you that fixing something, is not to just buy new parts until you find the problem ! I will let you know next week how I make out with this, since I really dont want to spend $600 plus on a new compressor !
Hopefully the cap gets you going. If you have the high rpm direct drive "buzz type", it may be worse. I had a HD buzz model, and it lasted for 10 years, but they quit selling the pump rebuild kit that was only about $40. It had a very special made sealing ring for the piston. I tried to duplicate it with teflon, then peek plastic, to no avail.
A friend brought over a sack of pears. Very small, about the size of a racquet ball. Wife peeled a bunch and is making a pie. Smells good.
A friend is offering me 2 yamaha XT225's, both I think are 1983. 1 is decent, the other is a parts bike. He has no titles as he bought them from a junk vendor. I would like to get a titled wrecked one, and share parts to get a street legal machine. Even the decent one needs to be torn down and given a rattle can overhaul. He already bought tires, sprockets, chain. He says there's enough to make a farm bike. I think RNG's is a 1982 red model. In 1982, I bought me an XT550 and my exwife an XT225. They were matching colors of red. Both of those bikes had bulletproof engines. If you kept oil in them, they ran and ran and ran.
RNG, hope you figure out the right price for the home your wanting. I would fault the sellers and sellers' realty for the wrong sq. feet. I would think your current place will sell for a pretty penny for someone wanting out of the big city. I see where Lake Oroville is way up, at 135% of normal level, but still below the overflow.
I need to put the gages on my commuter car's a/c. It is starting to not cool at a stoplight. Need to check airflow across the condenser too.
Prayers for our team. Especially for those in need. And for Putin.
