I rented a dumpster when reroofing. Some you pay rental fee than $x per ton. They brought me a smaller one than I ordered, then tried to bill me extra for 2 trips to dump it.

We rented dumps in the past and the only restrictions were no tires and no loading above the side walls

Had a dumpster here a few years back when I "re-modelled" the front porch.
Best move EVER.
When you have something big available for removal, it was like a light switch came on.
The wife actually drove up to it towards the end of the fill up and smashed stuff down with the tractor FEL.
That thing saved a lot of trips to the dump and landfill. And being so close to the house saved my back.
Only thing I recall was no chemicals...totally understand that.

It doesn’t have to make sense - it’s POLICY,Yet there low flying aircraft and those caught setting fires in the woods $$$'s homes being built wildlife wintering area,..nuff said for this could be sore issues.

When we lived in urban blight, if you got a dumpster you also needed to have someone guarding it or before you knew it it was full and none of it was your junk…

My younger daughter worked for the forest service one summer. They didn't use power tools in the wilderness areas but she had chainsaw training so I assume there were places that they did use them. When she was in high school she went on Student Conservation Association projects in the Parks. They used all hand tools. Can you imagine a crew of teenagers with a crew leader barely older that them with chainsaws? Maybe if they had battery powered saws the noise wouldn't be so bad.

Good Morning.
65 and won’t make it to 80 today.
Another great day to be outside.
Yesterday’s breakfast with the family was excellent. One son,DIL and grandson couldn’t make it, but it was still a nice time.
After breakfast worked on the Transit Connect, trying to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. Re-attached the terminals on the rear window defogger on one of the doors, added a cargo net and fit a piece of scrap carpet in the cargo area. I think it is ready to go back to work.
I did go over to the RC club, but it was pretty breezy, I was in my car, stopped at the restaurant to check on the last cooler I worked on, and didn’t bring a plane, thought about going home and getting the Kub Van, which had planes in it, but ultimately got side tracked.
I did take the Prius and Jerry Cans to the gas station and converted $85 into liquid gold.
For the first time in a while, I’m not sure what I will get into today. The weather looks great, so it will be outside, hopefully more fun than work.

Chainsaws are not allowed in the neighborhood FireWise cleanup so we use battery sawzalls. They cut up to an 8” branch. I think an axe would be easier than a two man saw.
However you could rig that saw to Drews electric bike. Pop gadget could fix you right up.
