Good morning, 76 going to 93 Excessive heat warning in effect

Stacked some more wood yesterday and did some trimming work.

Today will do some early outside work to avoid heat.

wngsprd, on my Kubota ZT I take off the plate with two screws that hold the two fuel filters and take the assembly to the work bench to change the fuel filters. Much easier and use clip offs to not have any spils from fuel hoses

103-105º daily. Too dry to mow. Fire season is upon us. Too hot to do much of anything. This is our bad weather season. Doing indoor projects and bored nearly to death with it. We need rain as we always do this time of year. Unfortunately it usually comes in a monsoon

I buy only Lifepo4 batteries for a couple of reasons. One reason is they are far safer than the older stuff. I have 3 charge stations. One in the attached garage on a wooden bench. Never put a hot battery on charge. Let it cool first and remove the batteries when they are recharged.
My big stuff (100 pound golf cart Lithums) I charge out doors, but never when I cannot be around just in case of a problem. I have never had a problem with this type of Lithium going back many many years

Morning all, 81 going to 94 and sunny.
Got plastic clips replaced on Jeep and cleaned up tools from the other day.
Started cleaning up ash slab bench to redo spar varnish and add legs.

Drew - seems like that insert would add a lot of rotational weight, just get 2 spare tubes. For chain, just get a reasonable "dry" lube since the bike will be riding on a rack, it will get wet.
I can show you what I use next time you drive by, I have 5 bikes to keep in tune.

Mostly-my company is massive and has plenty of work and super high debt and people have less to spend, so their forecasts for work are down and they need to pay off debt, so workers get let go and they hire more execs.......

Pennwalk - I charge batteries on the cement floor a bit away from other stuff.

PopG - 225 - the key and programming have doubled or is this something different?

Good morning! Low of 63°, heading towards 96°. We did hit 99° yesterday. Supposedly cooler (only low to mid 90's) for the next week.

That means it will even be a few degrees cooler up in Colorado.

Today's agenda: finish the drip irrigation rotation, pack up the travel trailer, clean the truck, check and double check the list....

Better get myself moving....

doc visit done, two assistants worked with me, no doc until next appt.
They took an xray, then gave me a scrip for PT and an MRI.
Insurance will not pay for operation unless I had PT in last six months.
ok...back I go.
she said I had really bad arthritis, some scoliosis, and a real mess at L5.
I told her I want to have a long risk/reward discussion with surgeon before we do anything.

on way home, good timing for house going up right down the road.
I had to chuckle, living in the "poor" section of Solebury, only place they would put up a prefab house.
today's modular homes are built pretty well; interesting they tore the old house down first.
looks like they left the existing garage behind it.

I was thinking, hope those straps hold.
