I bought this Pine Needle Rake from Everything Attachments a couple years back thinking I could find some use for it. Well, I use it all the time. It's less aggressive than my York Rake so I can use it on my lawn to collect branches and leaves. I keep my gravel driveway in shape in-between box blade passes. Keeps my trails clear in the woods and great for over-seeding a lawn. It's turned out to be a great investment.

I have one also. I use it to rake up pine needles. Works good.

I don't have one but I always thought it would be handy.

The rain finally stopped after a few weeks of very wet weather. Used it to remove moss in part of the lawn today and will over-seed it tomorrow. It leaves the same finish as a garden rake.

Did a quick pass on the driveway too.

I've got one on my 'list'. Trying to determine if I can sell enough pine straw to break even.

Yes - it does a good job on the OP's driveway. Very nice driveway - for sure. I've often considered some form of pine needle rake. I have 80 acres of nothing BUT pine trees. The needles are at least a couple feet deep - in and around the trees. I haven't figured a use for all the raked needles yet - so I just leave them where they are.

My driveway - mile long, straight as an arrow - looked like the OP's when built in '82. Over the years - wind blown silt, dust and volcanic ash cover it every summer. Now the surface is HARD as concrete. A pine needle rake would barely scratch/mark the surface. I have to use the scarifiers on my LPGS if I want to fix any potholes, riffles, etc.

Different locations - different opportunities.

I bought the same one from EA. Works great for pine needles and small branches.. Also use it on my lawn to even out the ground from divots (created by Armadillos) and ant beds
I don't feel comfortable using it on my gravel driveway. I would rather use my box blade.

I have a modest amount of pine trees in the yard and have been thinking about getting one of these to collect the needles once or twice a year. Does it do well in this usage, better than a sweeper for example?
