52 now 84 yesterday lots thunder no rain. Grass needs mowed no bird feeder out no bear interesting correlation. Been up since 2:00 cannot sleep. Wife had fun yesterday that’s all that counts

Coffee is brewing. 55° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 79° with plenty of sun. Nurse visit was good. Window cleaning did not happen. Got tools out. But could not find streak free cleaner that I use. After nurse visit I went to Menards for cleaner. By the time I got home it was to hot of window cleaning. Hope to get it done today. Did start putting E-track on trailer. Will get at that later today.

Good Morning!
God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly…).
59.0F, going to low 80s. showers/T-storms later today, which will dictate the day’s activities after church.
Yesterday was some good progress on clearing a food-growing spot. I didn’t get to do any tractor ing because Mrs said we had to go home and let Harry out of the crate, so we knocked off when I finished the excavatoe work to a sufficient point. I think Mrs is finally getting the idea that the only way to get it done is to be up there and put in substantial time. I say this because she was talking about going for a ride after church today, with several possible destinations, but after getting so much cleared she was like “Maybe you should do the plowing tomorrow instead of the ride?”
I am starting to get an inkling of what I am doing with the excavator—- I am by no means skillful, but at least I am no longer completely incompetent! I also have a decent idea as to capabilities of the machine now, particularly reach and balance. I know yesterday’s session went well because when we shut down and took a walkthrough, Mrs said “WOW - this is really open now! It looks really good!”

Anywho, coffee is calling . . .

Ted, I really like the colors on the new shed.
I'm being lazy and in slow mode. going to go to local garden shop later this morning, bring something home to plant.
need to check out supply of fruit trees. Now that I have an phd and 12" auger whenever I need it, can plant a few trees in the back.
Seems silly to plant apple trees when I live between two apple orchards, so keeping an open mind. Another willow would be nice.
since a big area floods, really have to avoid that. But I would like to plant some visual barriers at the very rear of property where lots of trashy
yard refuse has been dumped. Shady area. Not hosta. three to four feet tall.
suggestions?
I'll see what the garden shop has. Been going there all my life, Bountiful Acres in Lahaska.
Expensive but first class experience. Need to find something to plant in raised garden where radishes were.
Have plenty of tomatoes growing. Maybe some pablano peppers, a very mild heat pepper I can cook with.
RS, Burgess is addictive. Some of there stuff is so cheap. Yes when it shows up you think who shrunk the plant...
but most of my stuff has grown. I've complained before here of their management and QC issues, but sure can get in a lot of trouble
