Drew have you considered a bad house breaker. I had 3 bad breakers, they kept tripping when being used. They were Eaton breakers (blue) 2nd generation. Eaton sent replacement breakers - 6th generation, they knew about the problem.

Buckeye, I took my wife to a Jack-in-the-box when we were dating, but after I placed the order I realized I did not have enough money so when it was my turn to drive to the window I just kept on going, kind of embarrassing.

Coffee is brewing. 35° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 50° with partly cloudy skies. Had some hail, rain and wind yesterday. It did get to 70°. Felt good be outside in short sleeve weather. I did get a set of mud flaps on Mule. Should cut down on mud coming up on back of Mule. Grocery shopping this morning. Then cleanup the mess I made in shop from various small projects I have done lately.
Sassy needed to go outside about 3 this morning. Full Moon was bright.

Good Morning!!!! 45F @ 2:15AM. Mainly cloudy. High 67F. Winds SSE at 10 to 15 mph.
Yesterday's wet weekend evaporated from the 10-day, leaving Friday as the only day with rain. Crazy roller coaster weather.

Congrats on the regional win, Kyle. Does your boy to on to the state championship now? Wouldn't that be somethin', especially in his first year!

Called the insurance company yesterday on the roof damage and learned that the assigned case manager was no longer there. So I uploaded a copy of the contractor's latest estimate and asked the secretary to have the new replacement take a look at it. Later in the day the contractor texted me that the new adjuster had just issued a payment notice for some of the missing charges. One step forward...

Ran an errand in town and hit the Toyota dealer at about 2:30. They had the car ready and the salesman was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly, a little younger than me but not much. I got them to match a Market Adjustment in my favor on the MSRP and the deal was done. Hardest part was getting a copy of my proof of insurance card off my phone and to the finance manager so she could issue complimentary temporary insurance, and then getting the phone paired with the car. Computers are great, when you can figger out how they work. Finished up by asking if I could get four lug nuts to replace the wheel locks that came from the factory. Salesman said sure, but when he went to get them they wanted nine bux apiece for them. About then a sales manager walked by and introduced himself, asking if there's anything he could do for me. I said yeah, swap me four lug nuts for those stupid wheel locks. He says OK, just get 'em off another car on the lot. Then another sales manager comes over, gets the lug wrench out of the trunk, and swaps over the nuts. Nice guys, and great service.

Played with the lane keeping feature on the way home, taking my hands off the wheel and watching the car slowly move to one side or the other. Once it got far enough, it would steer itself back into the lane center, but would then start to drift back again. If I let it go, it would self correct with a soft ding and a red warning message on the dash. Must of looked like a drunken sailor going down the road, so I called it good and put a hand back on the wheel. Of three drive modes (eco, normal, and sport), I'll probably leave it in normal, as eco response was too slow coming off a stoplight, and sport too jumpy around town. The odometer only had six miles on it at the start of the test drive, and only 45 when I got it home, so it's too early to tell what the gas mileage will be. But the average, which included a lot of time sitting idle while the salesman explained stuff, was twenty something by the time I got it home, better than anything I've ever seen in the truck or van.

Got a contractor from the electric utility showing up here at 9AM to inspect some tree work that another crew had done, and a neighbor that's gonna drop me off at the dealership on his way to work to pick up the Ford. I wanna pick up a bottle of car wax on the way home, as I didn't spring for the fifteen hundred dollar ceramic coating the nice lady in the finance office was trying to flog. She wasn't successful with the $6k service contract, either, even after slashing the price to $2.5k. And boy did she get tweaked when I wouldn't sign an arbitration clause on the loan papers. Fixed that by just writing a check for the whole balance, so she lost anything I was gonna let her make on the loan, too. In fact, I got out of there with just the car and the options it came with from the factory, that in itself was a minor miracle.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!👍🏻

good morning all
woke up to rain at 3:30 but not much, nothing on gauge
very strange weather today, big front coming through this afternoon, high of 81??
on radar system goes all the way down to Texas

landscapers coming this morning to mulch all the flower beds, hope they show up early or that storm will
catch them.

Kyle, quite an accomplishment for your son. (y)

Buppies, glad you are doing better. Must be annoying not to be able to see what is going on but glad you are healing.

Will work on cleaning inside of rv today while landscapers are here. I forgot to buy ant spray, but will try the corn meal alternative also.
Will also check on the outside receptacle to see if GFCI.

my goofy neighbor a few houses away was complaining to me yesterday he had to buy a new car since his ancient Mercury Marquis finally fell apart.
He then started blaming it on parking on gravel, instead of pavement. ?? I don't think so....if your car rusts around here, it's because of salt. I got his drift that somehow he thinks it's his landlord's problem (same landlady as mine...) that she should be paving the road so his car won't rust.
He's only been here two years, so his thought process here is a real head scratcher. Maybe he can blame the squirrels next....

RNG, nice car, am sure it's very comfortable and likely super reliable.
Your experiences with the F&I person sound awfully familiar. Like running a financial gauntlet to get out of there.
I tell them I'm a NO NO NO guy, and when they figure that out, they aren't happy at all. Pretty sure they make more money in that dept than in sales.
Your lane keeping sounds like normal ping ponging, I never use mine. Plus the system adds an artificial friction to steering that I don't like, reminds me of putting
boat on autopilot.
Until I can afford a new GM car with Super Cruise, I'll be doing my own steering. But I absolutely love adaptive cruise.

RNG, you are up early. Congratulations on the new car. I would go with Toyota also if I was in the market. The mark up on warranty extensions and dealer add ons are huge profit opportunities for dealers that many customers fall for. Good for you you got out of there in good shape.
