just watched movie Legend of the Fall on a dvd, helped drown out noise of kids playing outside.
The wind continues to gust, the rv even on stabilizers is moving ever so slightly. Hoping it will calm down tonight but only a three hour drive tomorrow up 81 so I can leave later.

Certainly not going to leave in the dark as I did this morning. I'm going down this unlit country road with lots of curves that I've never been on and have at least four commuters behind me, all moaning they got stuck behind me. When the road opened up to four lanes, they roared by full throttle. Sorry.

enjoyed my movie night and now to finish a book on Kindle.

The main road out of Columbia rt 77 is totally closed due to bridge work, so I have to work my way around the city.

I’ll be thru columbia tomorrow, we are in TN tonight. Windy afternoon but sunny. Passed Drew’s campground before 3 pm.
Our lot looked nice. All flags from surveyor still in place, so maybe that neighbor has settled down.
I met nice lady that lives across the road. Another neighbor down the road stopped and asked if we needed anything. Wife told them we are the new owner. Nice to see the neighbors checking up on strangers.

MMM,..... I thought for sure I posted this morning.... apparently not....
The low was 29°, hit a high of 62° this afternoon. Winds finally died off last evening. Light breezes this afternoon. More of the same temps / and light winds tomorrow too!

Then for Monday and Tuesday, the 60 mph winds return...welcome to spring in NM.

Finished all the drip zones today. Did some piddling around the shop for a good part of the day. Got most horizontal mining done, didn't find any unexpected things.

I was going to change the oil in the car, but the knee was complaining. Decided tomorrow will be a good day to do it. Might take the opportunity to wash it too!

Drew, nice that you got to meet Buppies. Continued safe travels.

RNG, sorry about the realtor troubles. It's still a crazy market out there, especially Cali market.

Kilroy, glad the pups are getting to know each other. Soon you won't be able to separate them.

Rain ended...had some thunder. A lazy morning watching a gobbler and hens in the clover, then shaking off and preening...now gobbler is strutting.

59°F and cloudy this morning, dropped steadily through the day to 48° right now. Storms blew through here yesterday. Fortunately for us (less so for others), the severe stuff mostly went around us north or south. Very windy here today still, 25-ish mph gusting up around 50 mph. Finally died down just before sunset.

My 2nd shift supervisor at work decided to take Friday off. Too short of notice to make other arrangements, so I ended up staying until midnight:30. Been a long time since I pulled a 17 hour work day. Not as "fun" as I remembered.

Got up earlier than normal for a Saturday to go get our taxes from the preparer. We stopped for breakfast at a local IHOP, then still had some time to kill, so we popped into a Rural King near the accountant's office ... just to kill some time, right? Walked out with two each of new blueberry, blackberry, and red raspberry bushes, three silver laced wyandotte chicks, and a bag of starter food. Wife is supposed to pick up on Monday the six buff orpington chicks she ordered at another place over in Greenville. So, we'll be back up to 11 chickens this year. More than we planned, but the last batch of wyandottes we had were pretty good chickens.

Got the tax stuff done. We're getting back more than I expected. Too much. I hate giving an interest-free loan to the government every year. They already take too much of my money as it is.

Was going to do my level best to avoid napping today. That didn't work out well at all.

Good evening all. 50ºF for the start, partly cloudy, light breeze. Moderate wind, sky cleared off, and high temp was 71ºF. Bike ride to start the day, 4 riders this morning, 62.4 miles, 13.9 average. Nap after lunch, Mexican for dinner.
RS hope no severe t-storms last night. Nice find on the outlet. Glad you got enclosure. Cabinet looks a lot better. Saw parts look good. Making nice progress.

Just thought I'd mention that, waaaaay down here in the Southern Hemisphere I see this same moon 'upside-down' to you (the dark bits are at the bottom), and the shadow is to my right.

So, basically, rotate it 180 degrees.
