Good evening all. 51ºF for the start, partly cloudy, light breeze. moderate wind, and high temp was 75ºF. Putter to start the day, then bike ride. After lunch did some work for work. then napped.
Spike hope your hay field improvements work out. I knew several people involved with F-4 as engineer, assemblers, and 1 backseater who lost his ride in early 80's when Missouri National Guard switched from F4 to F-15. Nice pic

Good morning TBN Brothers and Sisters. I hope all are well and in good spirits today.
Warm this morning, near 70 at 4am headed to 80 again. Hoping to get Lime spread on hay field before rains on Thursday. The guy spreading for me is having a tough time with his trucker. The trucker doesn't show till after lunchtime which makes it difficult to get loaded and spread.

Newest F-35 (fifth generation fighter) Lightning II by Lockheed Martin. Production so far estimated at near 900.
Version A (conventional take-off landing)
Version B (short take-off vertical landing)
Version C (carrier variant)
USAF said F-35 will replace F-16 and A-10 (say it ain't so!) Cannot imagine this aircraft can loiter like the A-10!

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

34F right now, reasonably clear so far, heading to th 60s later.

We took a day off from the woodlot, so maybe today more barbed wire will go up, maybe not, depends. . .

our fancy-schmancy coffee machine has a leak on a water feed line, and the place we had it repaired at several years ago (which is now 700+miles away) is not able to send us parts, so I need to translate the Italian parts manual and see what I can find on ePrey. . .

I need to get in gear and replace the shift fork in our rototiller.

I think that a major portion of what we will plant this year will be cabbage - the chickens love their cabbages and can demolish a 5 pounder in a day! Then I also need to figure a better way of storing them through the winter, considering we lack a root cellar. . .

Well this sure isn't morning and I though long about before posting.
It's been a long week already.
Lost my brother Sunday we had know it was coming for quite some time.

Then I hadn't been feeling real good for a few weeks and Monday was a rough day,
sent my Primary care doctor a message and got a call back to get to the ER.
So spent the afternoon waiting in the ER with breaks for some tests then got stuck
in a room at the ER at 6 for more testing and scans, ended up getting admitted at 2AM to the Hospital
diagnosed with Congestive heart failure (failure had me asking what in the hell it's still working) so
it still works just not right. So new diet mild exercise and see what happens. Between COPD, arthritis,
and Afib now this have to wonder about things at times.
Every one stay safe and healthier then me

My wife needed to pick up some groceries, so we went into town to get some Torchy's Tacos...I guess we were so excited, that she forgot her grocery list, but pretty much covered all but 2 things.

Our woodstove had been getting several days of energy conservation, so cleaned it, filled it, and got a nice fire burning before bed time. I had to bring some firewood onto the porch since I was letting the stack get low in anticipation of spring...but Buppies is gonna send snow!

33 outside this AM. Heading to lower 50's. Nice steady and strong wind this AM. Like yesterday too. Took out a power pole last night so I had to fire up the generator and wood stove. I think that is twice this year that the power has gone out for an extended period of time. Always get nervous when it's out for more than a few hours. Anyway, all is good this AM.

May venture into the woods via the trails to go recover some firewood today.

27°F now highs in the low 40’s winds NW 10-20 mph, cloudy now but maybe some sun later this afternoon.

Mrs wants a new sofa and chairs so after 25+ years and much abuse (the furniture not me lol) I don’t think it can be avoided. Need to do some looking today, and a good excuse for lunch.

Good Morning!!!! 38F @ 4:00AM. Cloudy and damp with rain this morning...then becoming partly cloudy. High 53F. Winds SSE at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 100%.
Just a brief shower yesterday in the wee hours, but it's comin' down pretty good right now.

Not a diagnosis to fool around with, Lou, but not the end of the world, either.

Got my sofa in '80, used from a friend for twenty-five dollars. I think it's just gettin' broken in.

All packed and headin' south, tryin' to find some sunshine this morning. Gonna try to meet up with the Airheads in Death Valley over the weekend, and the weather should be in the 80s there. Be nice to dry out for a change.

Speaking of Airheads, got a call from a neighbor that his wife, who works at the local grade school, found my copy of this month's club magazine in with the school's mail yesterday. That's a new low for our mailman.
