Saturday morning as taconite pellets steam at Collingwood (Duluth MN) before being dumped at Dock 6. March 4, 2023

I was once at LTV's pellet plant when my father-in-law was still working and watched these pellets coming off the convoy there at tons per second and red hot.

amazing bridges to see in person first hand hand, I've got a friend who's mortified to drive a snowmobile over it, in its/ present repurposed use.

Any interesting story and history behind the historical marker one in Hancock? Lake Linden? Might go to the small historical museum in lake linden next summer.
