Good (Saturday) morning. Overnight Low of 15C and it's presently 22.6C, calm and partly cloudy. There was 59.1mm of rain in the gauge @ 0900... all from yesterday's thunderstorm. The aerodrome's automatic rain gauge was overwhelmed by the deluge and stopped working for hours, although it finally recorded 44.4mm, then went 'off-line' again. It's still buggered.

A fairly eventful morning so far; I was supposed to video-message my Aunt earlier but she'd received a COVID booster which knocked her for 6. She indicated that she'd try again at 1100 (my time) but it'll have to be a short call as 'Mad Horse Agisting Woman' has asked to shift her horses from Paddock #5 to #6 at/around 1130.

Once that's done, and everything has dried out from yesterday's rain, which it pretty much has, I'll have some tractor fun chain-harrowing/mulching Paddock #5.

Well, the 'feeling better' idea was short lived. The grocery list was short and I was back home within an hour..... feeling like crud again. Coughing back, but the rest of the day was spent just trying to find any bits of energy. And that was with 2 naps.... I need to shake loose of this....

LS, a cold usually takes 10 days to run its' course.

Got the tractor back today at 5 P.M. It gets dark (sundown) at 5:37 P.M., so tomorrow at about 7:30 A.M. I will go out and start it up. I plan to be plowing at 7:45 A.M. No word on how much, other than the parts prices I already stated. I did get a 5 er and a 1/2 back from the guys that did the work. I guess they didn't see much 'wrong' with the hydraulic oil that was in it.
Next 6 days are going to be above freezing in the day time, so I can start carving the mouths of driveways down where they all drive over the plow windrow.

Amazon let me down, my pole saw's delivery is delayed up to 4 days so I'll miss it tomorrow when we have the big clean-up.

Sausage flavor was better but still need just a little something, probably salt, but I'm tying to keep salt out. Sometimes lime juice works as a good substitute, looks like experimental batch 3 coming soon. I might put some peppers in batch 3.

Does anyone have an external storage device that plugs into an iPad?

Good evening all. 38ºF for the start, overcast with fog/drizzle, and breezy. Moderate wind, overcast with periods of light rain or drizzle, and temps fell through the day. Low temp forecast to 32ºF at midnight. Left off .9 inch rain in yesterday's update. Trip for blood draw this morning, wife came along for Chick-Fil-A breakfast, Then to dealer to take about what is coming in, nothing coming in in a color we want. Will likely order car, guessing at 4 month delivery. Trip to Sherman for lunch, derailleur hanger for Volagi, wife found out Bed, Bath and Beyond is closing in Sherman.

Good morning, the low temp is 2 and the high going to 32°F. Wind NW 3 mph. Sunny!

Today will be a good day to clean up the messes of the past week. I also have an extra driveway to look after while the owner is on holidays. I did some backhoe work for him about 3 years ago and he wants more this summer. As long as he catches me before the middle of May it will get done.

Good morning to all! Low of a chilly 6°.... now only going up to 38° today. Tomorrow forecasted to hit 48°. I was surprised this morning by another inch of snow....?? Wasn't forecasted at all.....

Woke up really congested with a junky cough..... but, able to get some out and blowing the nose really cleared out a bunch. Now to keep that trend going will help to get over this.

Kyle, good luck trying to keep up with here..... Safe to say that it's a good thing to hear that work is so busy?

Kilroy, hope the direction of work continues in the positive direction. How long is it for?

LFN, fingers crossed for return of tractor today.... maybe late, that way you can continue to conserve energy for another day...

RNG, sorry that the price came in so high for the ADU. When we built our little cottage, it finished out at just over $60K. But that was with all work being done by us, no contractors involved. We are just under 1K sq. Ft. Continued good luck with the search.

Wow, we have climbed to 12° at 08:00..... glad I have an excuse to stay inside, at least most of the day.... I do have to make a run to the grocery store for a few items. We have to make dog food this weekend.

Strange thing happened last evening.... got up from the couch and sneezed.... then a "triple sneeze", then continued sneezing about every 20-30 seconds for 32 times (yes, the wifey was counting). Eyes got all red and watery.....
We have no clue as to what caused it.... maybe the bugs last hoorah?
