Good morning, 23 going up to 46. Maybe some sun, had a clear moon last night.
Oil burner fix was to change angle and location of igniters. Seems they were too far out/apart and getting wet a bit. Guy seemed to know what he is doing. Discussed how to put a bypass on the autofiller, Think I have a good idea with an added T and a ball valve. Not urgent though.

There are so many regions in China and specialties. Hot and Sour is not in most areas of China.
Just like LoMein is was not created by the Chinese.

Got stuff moved from garage to shop and barn.

Got the stove fired up in the shop.

Shop Vac and six 2 x 4’s brought over from the barn to the garage + some other items.

Did find another piece of Baltic Birch … about 18” x 18” … will find a use for it …

Got Safety Kleen drum emptied out, outside washed off with soap and water, next step will be to wipe it down with mineral spirits and/or sand it. Then paint.

Center hole drilled in lid and then rinsed off in parts washer. Only had a 2 1/2 inch hole saw so that’s what I used. Really should be 3” … I’ll hog it out with the jigsaw if it ends up being an issue.

Shop was 80F when I left …

Stopped at the road and grabbed our trash can and recycle bin + mail on way down to the house, trash haulers had dropped off two new cans.

Woman wants the new cans they dropped off brought down to the house as well. That isn’t going to happen.

Woman fixed some enchilada soup, was good …

Called dad to tell him someone he knew passed away. And told him I saw the wave. He said he was going to pull a tree out. I Asked him where, he said down in the field next to the woods. I said that narrowed it down to 200 acres.

Worked some on the wiring. The wire is pulled and all materials are on hand. Tomorrow will complete wall drilling and install of breaker and wire up the unit. Also the whole house surge protector is on the plan. Then hopefully the mini split is in service.

My EGO 9.5" tiller attachment came in today, but it's raining (.61" so far) so all I could do is compare it to the Honda. As you can tell it's the same size but has fewer blades. The Honda has 24 blades and the EGO has 16. Hope to give it a review with some ground contact soon.

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 8C and it's presently 17.3C, overcast & calm. There was 0.3mm in the gauge this morning.

Trim & mowing completed yesterday arvo. I'll do some raking this arvo. In the meantime, it's 'into-town' day for Senior Discount (5%) groceries.

Furnace oil (#1 diesel) cost me $1241.38 in total for 580.3 L (153.5 US gals) or $2.14/L ($8.09/US gal). The price has come down some, but it needs to come down a lot more for my liking.

Holy cow! I would start squeezing my own shale for those prices!

Good evening all. 51ºF for the start, some fog/drizzle, breezy. Windy early, rain off and on during afternoon and evening, and high temp was 61ºF at 2AM, low forecast to be 44ºF. Rain was forecast to start before sunrise, did not start till about 2 PM. Cleaned ashes the built fire in insert to start day, Started to go riding and drizzle stopped me. Tried again an hour later and made it. No chain problems on bike Kitchen cleanup and clean sink drain in bathroom and nap finished the day.
