Good (Friday - St. Tibb's Eve) morning. Summer just might be here as the overnight Low was 10C and it's presently 23.7C, calm wind and clear.

Yesterday my Aunt got stuck into trimming back my geranium plants on the North side of the house whilst I trimmed around the house + obstacles, then mowed with the Z-turn. I received a text that there was a 'parcel' to be picked up at the PO so, after Lunch, I nipped into town and collected two cases of wine then stopped at the bottle-o and grabbed a bottle of Bundaberg Red (x3 smooth) rum.

I finished the mowing, then decided to see how much more mowing I could accomplish on one tank of petrol. I finished the front paddock & horse arena and the driveway. There was still 'gas in the tank' upon completion!

Drinks to complete the day.

More to do today but at a leisurely pace.

Good evening! 7pm. 17˚F wind chill 8˚.

Whipper's evening walk temp was a windy 19˚ - short walk.

Went by the garden but all the kale was crunchy frozen. On the way out the push button gate-unlock would not work - frozen - felt trapped. 8' deer fence all around. I went to golf cart gate, it has a tumbler combination that was still moving and my almost frozen hands could barely get the right combination, but I got it unlocked and escaped. I call the President and told him and he will send out an e-mail to all about the exit button not working in the cold before someone gets trapped and frozen.

Almost 1” of rain so far. Temp rose to 50° this evening, will make the fast drop tomorrow. Will drop 40° over the day.

Good evening all. 40ºF for the start, overcast, light breeze. Snow flurries early temp started dropping like a rock, and wind cranked up to near Ted numbers. Wind continued all day, temp drop slowed around 11AM, low forecast to be 8ºF, WC around -7ºF. Cleaned ashes in insert, rekindled fire, and puttered. Did work on getting power numbers for for back up power and getting 2 more UPS for TV and fridge. Will nedd 2500-3000 watt steady state. Did not get bike mounted in stationary trainer yet, and did get nap in. Wife decide she needed to do dinner in town, not many people out and about in this weather. Listed to Jazzy Little Christmas while posting this.
Don Sorry you don't have cold weather clothes for tractor. Glad you are off for a few days, hope you can upgrade your wardrobe. Neat pic of December strawberries.
Scaredy now that is cold, how far below normal are those temps? Good to hear you are getting some family time and truck back soon. prayers for your personal situation

Good morning, the low temp is 27 and the high for the day should be about 32°F. Wind E 24 gusting to 37 mph. Snow at times heavy, so far none.Was supposed to get 4" last night...Got none. According to wunderground we are supposed to be receiving 12" right now, but according to environment Canada it hasn't got here yet. It is still over the great lakes loading up. So we could get anywhere from nothing to 12". I am ready, I just gotta plug in the block heater for a few hours before I go out and plow. Gotta 'pam' the plow, too. Fluid film is the best, but at $16.oo/can it will stay on the shelf. Pam is only $5.oo/can.

I'm going back to bed, I'll check in later.

Good morning all, 35 this morning but the big cold front is on the way. Should start to drop around noon going to 6. Rain has stopped. The weather app reports 3.75 inches in the last 24 hours.
Cody got me up again. Might as well get the stove going. Will plan on getting my walking in at first light while the temps are still in the ok range.

34F steady strong wind upper snow 3" finally change to rain near 40F for high.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...take Mrs. to work,clear snow from walks around shed also shed roof,noonish pick Mrs. up from work have lunch at local diner,other than that slow motion day.

21F (and falling) with fine snow, been lots of wind, howling now, WC 4F. Actual temp should hit -1F by 13:00 with a WC of around -26F.

Calling for around 1" to 3" of accumulation, have gotten maybe an inch so far.

Just finished doing some clean up in the kitchen and now enjoying a cup of caffe con leche.

Did not make it downstairs last evening.

Did broil up a nice strip steak last night that The Woman picked up the other day for 50% off, along with some pan fried sliced Yukon Gold potatoes + reheated onion rings from Eadies the other night. Very tasty.

Did get a bill scheduled for payment, also watched some YouTubes on building a woodworking bench, more research on vises, dogs, and holdfast clamps.

Definitely will be an inside day today ... unless impossible for some reason.

Coffee is brewing. 12° with snow and wind. Heading to 7° with more snow and wind. Got about 1/4" of rain before it turned to snow around midnight. Hard to tell how much snow. Wind is blowing it into field. At this time there is around 1". No plans to hurry out and plow snow.
Went to Meijer's to shop for the few items I wanted. At 8am line to get to checkout was all the way to back of store. Turned around and drove 5 miles to Wally World. Got what I wanted and walked up to checkout as a register was opening. Quick checkout and I was back home. Helped neighbor get his tractor and snow blower ready for todays weather.
Need to get Christmas gifts ready for Christmas Eve party. No plans to do anything outside today.
Yellow Ears is ready for cold weather.
