42F and clear @ 22:00, heading down to around 36F in the overnight for the low.
Woman said She saw frost on the roof of the pump house this morning. It still hasn't gotten cold enough to kill off all Her dahlias.
Mounted another double 8' fixture on the wall and stuck a pair of LED bulbs in it and got it wired up.
Got exterior door frame for the south man door removed. Need to order a jamb set (or some repair pieces to repair it), also new exterior trim. May go with PVC this time around. Also some paint to match the barn trim.
Measured out a 20' piece of 14-2 romex and stapled it up on the second truss on the north side at 14' out from the east wall. That should be enough to connect it to the other light which will be on the same truss but centered 14' out from the west wall.
Woman got the opposite sides of the three 2 x 8 x 14's coated with BLO.
More cleaning.
Had visitor wanting to know what all the activity was about:
Seemed like she wanted to come on inside but couldn't quite muster the courage.
Hooked up the torpedo heater and fired it off to make sure it's operational ...
Managed to get southern most overhead door unstuck and pulled down.
Verified junction box size is correct for both light fixtures, used some Lexel and installed the plugs on one of them.
New live trap baited and set.
Knocked off around 18:45, was starting to cool off and I was hungry and She was done.
Finished up my shrimp teriyaki bowl and the other half of my California roll (with lots and lots of Wasabi ...
)
About time to see what's for desert.
Woman ran second load through the washer: "It seems to be doing ok now ..." ...
Hope everyone had a Good Friday ...
