Good Morning!!!! 55F @ 4:45AM.
Plenty of sunshine. High 74F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.
I think you're pretty close on your estimate, Drew, assuming electricians make about $100k/year. That used to be a lot of money, but now, not so much.
That's a heck of a wedding cake, Kyle. Did they eat the tractor, too?
Lots of pretty leaves in the mountains, Billy. Thanks for sharing.
Someone online suggested that EMI from the walkie talkie could be creating a feedback loop, causing the VOX feature to stick. Dug through a bunch of old cables and found some ferrite chokes, but only one was the split type. Tried to slice one of the tubular ones open with an abrasive cutoff wheel, but it was very slow going and I gave up. Tried the one split choke and it didn't help (need at least two), so ordered an assortment on Amazon that should show up here today.
Made a big batch of wild rice and got it bagged and frozen, ten servings should last me a while.
Westworld continues to amuse, but there's a little too much gratuitous violence at times. If it gets any worse (a sure sign the writers are running out of good ideas), I'll stop watching.
Got a few little things done on the big touring bike, getting ready for what will probably be a wet campout this weekend over on the coast. It's at a KOA, and I have a Camper Cabin reserved so there will be no soggy sleeping bag or tent to deal with.
There was no power interruption yesterday, but the warnings are still up for the rest of today.
Hope everyone's week gets off to a great start!
