Stuff been inflated.

Glad I bought it when I did. My paycheck hasn't had that affliction of inflation added to it.

I'm very curious what the MSRP was then and now.
I just bought a 2018 with 150 hours.

I believe I paid 28k and one the website now it says msrp of $42k with loader. My $28k was actually a lil below msrp as I got a half decent deal at the time. It was the only dealership willing to deal with me. I remember the transaction well.

But you also only buy an mx 5400 or 6000 now...no more is the 5200. So there's that.

Considering the value of the dollar is dropping like a rock, you aren't any farther ahead. If anything you are going backwards.

Well... I paid 32k for a 2018 like new (147 hrs) with 3 remotes and Landpride gannon w/hyd rippers. And LA1065. I'm happy. I had been to the dealer and seen the 5400 without rear remotes or gannon for $46k. As I see it I saved a bunch of jingle.

I'm farther ahead by having the tractor already, obviously.

I think we all understand that the dollar is dropping. I think I put it in the op .

I ended up with three rear remotes and a front third function too. I wanted a hyd box blade but the used ones were all so small and the new ones were super high dollar. I ended up with a 7' HD unit that is totally bad ass. Not hyd though.

Hydraulic rippers are probably the least used function anyway. Used more on a construction or grading tractor.

I use the top and tilt on mine quite often. Top never comes off the tractor actually.

As yours appreciates in value, so do mine (at the same rate I might add), mine may be more as they are both pre 4 units. As much as none are built anymore, that makes mine even more valuable should I ever decide to sell them. Getting harder and harder to find pre 4 units in good condition today and both of mine get excellent care.
