I don't see how a telehandler could dig a deep hole with steep sides. Am I wrong?

For digging out rocks the stump bucket will go over 4' deep:

One thing missing from the Mini telehandler infomercial is rocks. I would like to see it dig like that when you dig down 6" and start hitting rocks the size of that bucket like in these parts. Anything can dig in soil like that.

Its true no ONE machine can do everything well, but as Xfaxman has shown over the years, the properly equipped telehandler is the award winner for the single machine capable of doing the biggest list of chores better than any other single machine.

It can also do many of the individual chores on said list very well.

I rented many telehandlers over the years to do construction projects. You couldn’t build a building without them, unless you wanted to have 3 extra laborers around.

For your application, definitely get the Ag version of it with those nice R1 Radial tires. Those can actually be useful and move on some wet ground. The other ones sink in the first pot hole it finds.
