68°F and no rain.

Put a new deck belt on Scag. While I have replaced a few over the years this was 1st that was basically broken thru and thru, not shredded. Mowed a couple hours around main house while Sophie tooled around on her BX. At 25.0h she’s half way to 50 hour service already.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

70F and "Fair" @ 12:00, heading up to a high of around 78F for the day. 15% chance of a stray shower or thunderstorm this afternoon, which goes up to 93% chance tonight after 20:00.

Supposedly had 0.42" of rain since midnight and 0.42" yesterday, so another good soaking.

Mild temps with highs in the 70's through Sunday, then headed up into the 80's with a high of 92F being called for next Wednesday.

Meds doled out for the coming week.

Woman just headed out back to do some weeding in the big flower bed on the east side of the frog pond. I suggested she take the neem oil solution and spray whatever is chewing on the rhubarb leaves which created some consternation. (She's been talking about doing it for better than a week)

Seeing evidence of a good kill in all the areas where I sprayed.

Last round of rebates from Menards came in the mail yesterday. Have one I need to print out from the mulch order.

She is game for lending a hand on the Kubota, so that's where we'll be heading after I collect myself. At least get the driveline put back on while she is available to lend a hand.

Suspect that the front lawn probably needs mowed again, so that may be on the list afterwards.

No mulching plans due to the possibility of rain later.

Saw a possum out front last night when I came down from the shop.

Also saw what I think was a skunk run back under the burn pile when I was tossing branches on it the other day.

Time to get moving.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe Hump Day ... (y)

thanks guys. Frankly I was surprised any would be sitting there on his lot. He buys at end of lease, adds new parts, and resells.
Seems to make a nice business of it.

I called them back and asked if they could install a rear view mirror on the left at eye level that would be hinged; swing back if hit.
They did and will install it. There is the panoramic wide mirror up high but I would rather have a mirror at eye level.

Good morning (afternoon). Already warm at 82°, but a nice cool southern breeze is making it feel ok. Humidity went up as a "backdoor" cold front came across this morning. At last check, it was 52%. Hopefully that increase will spawn a few T-storms this afternoon.

So, what is it they say about the best laid plans?..... I'm glad that I didn't get to make the raised bed for the strawberry patch.....
The wifey and I were discussing the project and it is now going to be 2 raised beds, one on each side of the backyard. Each one will now get a tree planted in the middle, with the strawberries planted around the base.

I'm also going to take down a couple of sections of the picket fence around the backyard and then expand the area inside. I am clearing out that area of stored garden supplies. Not sure if I'll get to messing with the picket fence today..... I'm gonna take Bruce's advice... tomorrow is another opportunity!

Wng, nice location for a hike... beautiful!

Randy, do worry about work.... The Starlink package is more important!

Drew, sounds like a nice score on the golf cart! Hope it will fit on the trailer!

Did you inquire about a longer top that also covers the back seat? That is a common easy add on around here for a 4 seater.
