Back from Launie and the pump has been repaired. I re-installed it and, after a wee bit of fiddling with the priming, all is working as it should. Good of the repair bloke to handle my pump practically right away as he had a bench-full of others to get around too. A$150.

As I was there, I decided to buy a spare pump for any future problems... I just hope that I'll be able to remember where I stored it when the time comes.

Very warm day today, 20C right now and rain (woo-HOO!) expected this evening.

Happy Anniversary Mr. & Mrs. Bird!

Good morning all, a little cool this morning at 27 and going to a high of 55°F. Wind NNW 3 mph. Sunny!

The Jeeps' trailer has lights again, BUT the frame is rotted out on both sides AND it has a busted spring. I will be taking it to the dump for a Sunday run, then will flip it over and see if it is worth repairing. Also see if the welder guy will 'do' it.

Next Monday I will call the welder and see if he will come out for a couple of projects I've got going.

Off to North Bay for the month end shopping trip and turn in my medical for my license. I need to renew my OHIP card and can do that at the same place as the license renewal/medical drop off.

Then it is Boston Pizza for a rack of ribs and then home with a bucket of KFC.

Working from home today...one meeting in the morning (0730-0800), then a clean schedule for the rest of the day. Might try to sneak in a dump run this morning

good morning all
just above freezing, 36 going up to 60 today in sunshine.
Should be a nice day, hope winds die down.
I'm tired of chasing the same empty flower pot across the yard, three times yesterday.
Then of course I got smart and put something heavy in it...

might wash the car today, not that dirty, but totally covered in pollen.
Car has a feature where headlight washers come on when wiper washers do, no choice.
Not good, splatters wiper fluid up on dusty hood and makes a mess. Next time car is in shop, going to have
them disconnect headlight washers, useless in weather here. I use my regular washers a lot so this has been annoying.
If I drove a lot in winter and salt conditions, headlight washers are great. I'd just like to control when they come on.

primary doc offered to put me on prozac to stop teeth grinding. Which might help my bad ear.
My eyes went wide on that. Never taken the stuff.
My closest friend tells me I have an overclocked cpu. Maybe I should slow down...
I've always been a willpower person, mind over matter. Maybe at my age I should worry less about that and just take the silly pill...

hummingbird feeders definitely going up this morning.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...Morning 2 stops for critter food,cook off some hot sausage for pick food,cut clean up up rooted spruce tree...Afternoon check out Gray's Auction Field tractors,attachments,mowers, chains,hardware etc.etc...no offer refuse at Saturday auction. than date night...guess I better shake leg and get started.

Yep, I've always been known for talking a lot (too much maybe). And I HOPE I've helped some other members who had questions, because I KNOW I've gotten lots of help and answers to my questions on TBN. But now, living back in town, and not doing much of anything, I'm afraid much of my tractor/farming/animal knowledge is obsolete, so I just visit a bit.
