5,000 square foot city lot the push is to eliminate lawn and the owner will be paid per square feet if removed

If you have a lawn the gas mowers are still ok to use but try to find a new one to buy is the problem.

If you get rid of your gas mower you can recieve a voucher towards the purchase price of electric or push mower.

Currently it is gas trimmers and blowers that are banned here and the ban is spreading... battery OK to use

Childhood home is a tract home built in the 50's and over 50 years ago parents bought the 18 acres adjoint... Steep for the most part.

Currently mom has 6 remaining with the other 12 now city owned for greenbelt...

But to answer your question... yes, even owners of a 1 acre parcel are encouraged to rent a goat...

I still do my 2 acres the old fashioned way with Roundup...

Not much to worry about dealer pricing because my county and several others have no Green Deere dealers...

Years ago while in a sunny vacation spot in the South West, within walking distance of a beautiful little hamlet named Juarez, I was introduced to Xenoscaping(sp?). Sounds like it could take off out there too.

Xenoscaping as I came to learn was zero water landscaping or rather no extra water. Local flora only and zero grass. Think "Japanese Garden" minus water features and instead of sand insert river rock or tumbled and polished stone.

Coastal Live Oak, Brush, Seasonal Grass and Poison Oak thrive here...

Nope. And I suspect that you know you are just trolling.

I know people who live there. Although we don't always agree, they vote their leaders in just like the rest of us do. The people in charge are there because the majority of their fellow citizens want them to be.

No I am not.
Like I said before, I mean no disrespect to the people of CA, or any state. I just find the people in charge to be overly oppressive. Sure, I realize they were elected, but you are forgetting people running campaigns for positions say many things to get elected, then turn around and do something totally different.
Nobody deserves that.
