Morning all 39 and going up to....67, waiting for the sun to top the trees.
Heater igniter seems to be at least one issue, no glow with voltage present. Had some help from here on troubleshooting.

Maybe take down hanger tree today as snatch block arrived last night.

Buppies - not more---hope the removal is not too bad for you. You have our thoughts on quick resolution and recovery.

Alien - we really are going to have to wrap you in bubble wrap- hope this one does not hurt too much. I guess no laughing for a while.

Wngsprd - I stopped buying duracell, too many leaked. I contacted them and they wanted to give me a coupon to buy more, clueless company.

So much room, yet there are hoses and wires just jammed in. One switch just hangs off a hose with a tie wrap.
Had to take off the gas Manifold to get the igniter out. It was pretty charred. The flame sensor did not look too bad but I cleaned it anyway as it was out.
Checked all pressure sensors and everything else seems fine. Weird it had no error codes at all, just no flame and kept cycling on/off.
Installed in the 90's and first service need in 6 years. So no complaints. It even waited for warmer weather!

Needed for safety of course. I had to look hard at Ken's pic to figure out what that
was. Super complicated bathroom fan? No...there's a cast iron tube, none of them in fans...
Looks like a heater in my past rv's. Hard to tell it's a heater. Any open flame heater means you
have to have a bunch of CO2 detectors in your house. Because if one of those sensors fail, that gas heater
won't be your friend. Usually they fail off, which is clearly good.

39°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 69° today.

My great Grandfather on my Father's side was from Hamburg. Before WWI, they were the Schmidt family. That got changed to Smith during the war, to try to end the constant harassment.

I don't need Baltic birch for this cabinet, Mostly_. The cabinet it's matching is made from MDF, so just regular pine plywood is already a step up in quality. It's only ever going to reside in my studio anyway. I'm not sure there is a better material for bass guitar cabinets that Baltic birch, though. OSB is probably the most common, but it pales in comparison to birch in both sound and strength.

I feel your pain, Paul. I still can't get the speakers I wanted for this cabinet, so I ordered a cheap alternative pair last night just to get something in it to complete the build. Fortunately, mine is just for my own use and not for customer orders like yours. Front loaded, so easy to swap when I can get what I want. Rough times for small boutique builders.

Good Morning!!!! 52F @ 6:45AM. Light rain this morning. Then remaining cloudy. High 67F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%.
So far about 3/4" of rain has passed through the gauge, and the radar map says there'll be a little more coming before it's done. The 10-day is still calling for a little more rain on Saturday.

Beautiful weather yesterday, just perfect for firing off a burn pile. No wind first thing in the morning had the flames and smoke going straight up, then a little breeze built in the afternoon to help fan the flames and keep the pile going. I fished through the piles as I went, pulling out the larger limbs and chunking them up for campfire wood, so it took a little longer than it otherwise would have. Got through it all by about three o'clock. There's a large rock pile near the top of the driveway that's been overgrown with manzanita and poison oak for years, and now everything's dead and ugly. Knocked a couple trunks down with the grapple and hauled them to the fire, but the rest were out of reach because of the rocks. Pulled them down with several lengths of chain, and they were so full of poison oak they all went into the fire. Finished up by 6:30 PM, long day and my tail was draggin'.

Gonna be a soggy day outside, so maybe I'll get a start on the ol' income taxes. Plenty of other inside choices if not that.

good morning all
bit of a late start, but nice to see a lovely day ahead, sunny up to 67.

last night's dinner at the Springtown Inn in Hellertown, at the top of Bucks County. Bit of a drive but very nice going through mostly farm country
to get there. I wanted prime rib for my birthday dinner and an old friend took me out to dinner, which was sure nice. And the beef was awesome.
We laughed at the menu. The small and medium sizes were 27 and 33 dollars, but the large was 95 dollars??

Glad you had a good birthday meal.
My steak the other day wasn’t that impressive for the price I paid. I rarely eat steaks.

My go to meals for eating out are either steak or prime rib (rare). I almost never eat a burger when out,
I get my burger from the farm and let them keep most of the steaks for resale.
Also I'll often have sea food as my wife doesn't like it so I seldom have it at home.
She is just about chicken mostly, bah.
