Bought some new blades for my ZT today then swapped them onto the mower so I could sharpen the old ones. Managed to finish mowing paddock 2 so only have about 1/4 of paddock 3 left to do. Then to top the day off I broke another rib, damnit. On painkillers tonight and looks like a day or two in the mancave as I can't do much else. Looks like I will have plenty of time to tidy the cave up now.

Helogabals beautiful county rich in history. Car inspection here required once a year $20 US dollars personal property tax based on Kelly Blue Book or NADA values can get pricey then tags to be street legal renewed for one or two years

35 going to 70. Krazy after just having snow and 15F. Was still a little snow left yesterday morning.

Buppies, prayers for healing.

Alien, that's bad news! Better take it easy.

Eric, great analysis on your rocks. At the unit level, they seem so cheap. Now I wonder how many bricks in your house?:devilish:

Labrīt! Helogabals.

Made a dump run, took a hike and gave the grape arbor a haircut yesterday. One of the smoke detectors was making that annoying chirp this morning, so swapped in a new battery...I had just changed all of them on January 22. All Duracell out of the same pack...wonder why one went bad so quickly?

Good morning! 55˚F heading to the 70s no rain from the clouds and cool front that moved throughs yesterday evening.

I'm still in shock over used car prices. I'm glad Mom is selling and not buying. Carvana offered $4,000 more than the blue book value. If you can buy a used cars from an individual at blue book value you can make money now selling it to a used car co. The deal has not gone through so I'll let you know the final outcome and if the online offer holds up.

Dr. visit went well yesterday. I went to the gym before the visit and rode the stationary bike and got the knee limber and even surprised myself when the Dr. asked me to bend my knee. He was impressed - Egore's threat of more torture after that first session paid off. I forgot to ask about the dentist but I have another chance at the appointment in 3 weeks to discuss my shoulder after a MRI.

Thanks for the map Helogabals. My cousins are in S. Germany, closer toward Dresden, so my estimate of 1000km is very close, now that the direction has been corrected. My Great Great grandparents spoke Wendish a languish that has no country after wars and is almost disappeared now, they were assimilated into the stepchildren of Germany and my Great grandparents and grandparents spoke German as well as my parents. The German biblical passages on the wall of my grandparents church in Texas were painted over during WW2. There were found several yers ago and repainted for the 150 year anniversary of the founding of the church. History can be erased so easily.

Good Morning
It’s 38 with a clear sky going into the 60’s today.

Yesterday was a nice day as well, but it is still pretty swamp like out there. I spent most of it in front of a computer, but made decent progress on several fronts. A couple of friends came by for lunch, I had a few ribeyes left over from Sundays dinner, so I cooked them on the grill, and served them with broccoli and steak fries. I told them not to get used to it, but as empty nesters, left over management is an issue.

Today I’m off to do another visit to the palm trees in Stuart, FL. However as usual, I’ll be back this afternoon.
Emily is continuing to do well, she is playful inside, often bringing me a ball or toy to try to take from her.

Speaker orders are piling up while I wait for components. I have been out of woofers since September. I’m almost afraid to check the current price of Baltic birch.

good morning all
bit of a late start, but nice to see a lovely day ahead, sunny up to 67.

last night's dinner at the Springtown Inn in Hellertown, at the top of Bucks County. Bit of a drive but very nice going through mostly farm country
to get there. I wanted prime rib for my birthday dinner and an old friend took me out to dinner, which was sure nice. And the beef was awesome.
We laughed at the menu. The small and medium sizes were 27 and 33 dollars, but the large was 95 dollars??
We had to ask about that, particularly when my meal came, cooked a perfect medium as I asked for, and it was over two pounds of meat. Easily enough to feed three
people so I asked the waitress what the story was on the large size and who ordered it. (like one of those can you eat this videos)

She showed me a picture of this enormous rib roast on a plate, over 4 pounds of meat. And yes, one younger guy came in a few years ago and almost ate the whole thing.
It was delicious but all those fat grams.... I ate around the edges of mine and still took over a pound of prime rib home. All of a sudden 33 bucks was a real bargain.
I don't eat much beef but this was such a treat. They also had their own version of short ribs that I bet were wonderful. All heart attack food but probably ok once in a while.

Can one freeze a cooked steak/roast without issues? I'm leaving Thursday morning and not sure I can/want to eat all this beef before then.

car is a salty mess, might turn on the water today and wash it myself. Good exercise and keeps me outside on a nice day.
Hope you all have a great day.

Sending prayers (and the prime rib if I could...) to the people of Ukraine.
