fad...Once the EV fad wears off it will be interesting to see what the US fleet is driving.
really...
the whole world is going through a fad?
The US alone is spending multi billions alone on trying to meet public demand as well as " zero " emissions.
The US is spending billions building solar farms which in turn is expanding interest in home solar and net monitoring.
Battery storage is going to the next level. LiFePO4 is the next level of Lithium. Sodium-Ion is a real thing and Lithium free.
For some of you going from kerosene to gasoline was a tough one.
Pollution was happening somewhere else.
Higher gas prices acceptable as long as we can keep buying from outside our country.
I dont see gasoline or diesel going away. We have too many things using it.
I do see great options for change happening now. As long as we have the sun we have a proven supply of free energy that will fill many of our basic energy demands
Only for the richer 10%? Kind of the same thing they said at the 1893 Chicago World's fair when they turned the lights on for the first time.
I'm looking forward to all of what is changing now. Lots of bugs to work out. The amazing thing to me that it isnt just a few of us but its the whole world working for and towards the shift in energy.
